this there really a point to the end or the beginning as a matter. things stay the same regardless of what it might occur. sure the slate is wipe clean, but then what we commit the same mistakes over and over again until once again we await for the end. as if the end will truly erase those things to begin with. so i am really ready for the end. i think its pointless really.

I'm just kidding, except for that first sentence. 2012 will not happen. I think that the reason for the Mayan calender stopping is that the guy who made it keeled over and died from disease. It's a good reason in my eyes.

Uhm...2012 WILL come...12/21/12 will see the alignment of our sun and solar system with the axis of the Milky Way galaxy.

The Mayan calenday doesn't "stop" - rather the current cycle or "era" ends and a new one begins.
