I know what the penalties are SUPPOSED to be but what they actually are is a different story.

The length of the ban depends on the mod but I've seen 2 days up to 2 weeks.

I'm not surprised there are so many bans lately. Essentially there are only 2 active mods in here now. One has been accused of bias a million times and the other, well...I think they are ok even though they seem to be a little confused about things sometimes.

They can snip, delete threads and ban without anyone looking over their shoulders making sure their actions are legitimate and that is 100% wrong.

Ben has been repeated approached by the other mods with regards to arbritrary actions by orgers and other moderators alike. He seems to be updating his google plus account pretty often, so he's around. Perhaps he's burned out on the org.

If that's the case and he doesn't give a shit aout that happens here anymore, prehaps getting rid of the mods altogether is the best thing to do.

I hope he does come around though and make some real changes....and soon.
