Very seldom do I get into discussions about faith or the lack thereof but I've witnessed narrow mindedness on all sides... from people of faith, agnostic's, and atheist. I'm not surprised that most of the insults hurled towards this young man have come from other men. Just an observation of a woman of brothers, nefews, and a wife. It's all too common for boys / men to ridicule other boys/men when they choose a different path from the group or pack. This mess starts from grade school, the ones who make the honor roll, the ones who decline a dare, refuse to go along with something they know is wrong, the ones who listen to their parents, or God forbid their momma. Sadly, far too many men follow... they don't think for themselves.

Really, what has Mr. Tebow done to you are anyone? Did Mr. Tebow start the blog or turn his name into a verb? Good grief! If we want to speak of his chances of becoming a number one quaterback and game changer in the NFL, less have that debate. But the personal comments ziggers about this man's faith rubs me the wrong way. Live let live.

He's already a #1 quarterback in the NFL. He was drafted in the first round and is now starting.

Whether he will ever be an NFL QB is the debate.

As for his faith, he put it out there. People are free to comment pro or con on public behavior.

He's not the only NFL player that prays is he? Far from it. He's not the only one who praises God/Jesus after a win.

It has nothing to do with any of the reasonings you proffered above. No one is trying to get that jerk to conform. There's a reason why Tebow, who is not the first or only player to pray on the field, gets the reception he gets.

I think it comes from people who've watched him since college and are tired of it always being about him.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

You could've fooled me from what I've been reading in some of the postings. Give me a break. Please, lets talk about if he'll ever have "game" to be a premier QB in the NFL; we all know of his weaknesses the debate should be about that. (IMO) The man came off the bench to replace Mr. Kyle Orton, which couldn't be too much of a surprise to anyone. Denver Broncos have some other weak links the need RB, CB, DL, OC to name a few and they may need to draft for another QB.

So what Mr. Tebow put his faith out their? How does it affect you, me, or anyone else for that matter? In a league where trash talkin, pimping for the camara, and mike are all too common. If people are tired of... LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME self-serving jerks, they should stop watching NFL all together, watch pee-wee league instead. wink

...and sick of all the stans treating this dude like he's The Second Coming. When Jesus was at Florida, I heard one dickhead announcer say we'd all be better people if we got to know Tim Tebow. Give me a mother-fucking break.

There'll be more ass-bustings for The Messiah - imagine what the Patriots will do to him. lol

Not only can Tim Tebow turn water into wine, he made the Lions defense look like the '85 Bears.

Josh McDaniels really fucked over the Broncos franchise by picking this cat in the first round. Neither Fox or Elway want Tebow, but they're saddled with him. You knoe Elway has his eyes on Luck. Elway played at Stanford, and many experts compare Luck to him.

Shit, I'd keep Tebow as the starter, so I could win the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes.

Ok, So I knew what Planking was, now I know what Tebowing is, Dare I ask what Owling is? Does it include Owls in some perverse way? Or can I Google it and not be totally freaked out? lol lol

Going to make a wild guess and say it is people who "hoot" randomly in public?

Life is short, don't be a dick.
