Devote a Thread to TRON ~ Open after midnite!!! I wanted my very first thread to be for a special occasion and the time is NOW!!!
Monday is TRON"S BIRTHDAY!!!   
Here is the opportunity for all of you to post your sentiments to this orger 
Having known him for a while now in another venue I can speak volumes about him but will leave it to these few comments. He is among the most sentient beings I know. He is physically, intellectually, creatively, and Spiritually gifted and gratefully accepts and uses these gifts wisely and broadly. He is a most generous sharer of music and has "opened doors" for many of us. I have never met anyone with a higher regard for all life ~ he holds even the smallest of animals with the greatest love and esteem.     
 May you have the happiest of all birthdays Nathan!!!

Christopher ~ No, Nathan's not old, but I am.  We did work together with teens ~ an amazing job that we loved but took a huge emotional toll. I always felt (and believe he did too) that we were "equals". You must know him? | |

Nikki: Thank you so much for remembering me on my birthday and for the sentiment you still feel. We really had some times didn't we? Animal rescues, crisis calls, talking every night, Beard's Hill excursions, aimless yet purposeful driving, home and yard makeovers, emotional meltdowns, you name it. I really did become an adult in those years spent working with you. Such a crucial time for both of us, huh?
For those of you who don't know the creator of this thread, her name is Nikki. She's sometimes reluctant to post, so this thread means even more coming from her. She and her sister were the ones who hired me at a youth shelter in my hometown called the Harbor. We later become partners in a special project for teens and close friends outside of work. One part of our friendship was highly musical. I guess being around me all the time, it's kind of hard to avoid. I'm constantly playing something. With her eagerness to learn she took it on as her own. She got a crash course in Prince from me. I was constantly giving her some new mix tape and she was always buying whatever albums she could find. Within a couple years, she was pretty much up to date with Prince and she's a bonafide diehard to this day. | |
