So, I just reviewed my insurance coverage with my agent - and to upgrade coverage to what I need to cover my home and car adequately, and add a liability umbrella, it's going to cost me another hundred bucks a year.

Now, the coverage is a lot better. And the new provider will let me pay monthly (with an automatic payment). But still.

That's less than $10 a month. Not bad at all.

My health insurance went from under $40/week (via the ex) to almost $150/week for shittier coverage via my job. as of Nov. 1st THAT policy is getting even shittier so I had to switch to a different policy for $80/week which has no deductibles and fewer co-pays but it's hard to find a doctor that accepts it AND it only covers GENERIC drugs. So for meds that my son takes and that I take, for which here ARE NO generics, we have to pay out of pocket.

Yeah...being a grown-up sucks.

I hate paying for it all and feeling broke, but the thing that i hate the most about being grown up is not having summer & winter & spring break anymore.

I want 3 months off!

Ooh, yeah; that's a good one. And having to work 40+ hours per week. Our offices don't close until 6 o'clock (we open at 10am) and I hate it! It feels so late; I am not a morning person, but I would rather drag myself in at 9am so I could leave at 5pm. I also think productivity and worker stress would be better if we switched to a 4-day work week.

On the contrary - he would now have more reason to sue you! You wouldn't pay, of course (your insurance company would), but you're more of a target because you/your insurance company now will pay more.

I am taking my Property and Casualty Insurance License exam Thursday morning.

I like everything about being a grown-up. And there's nothing that I did as a younger person that I can't do now.

But, check back with me in 15 years.

I have a nice little tax bill, not due until March and also the Family Assistance Office overpaid us last year so I have to give that back

but really, it's nothing much

On the upside I heard our tax free income threshold went from $9K to $18K which is WONDERFUL news for small business owners like me and the SOB

our medical ins. went way up too, but i'm not going to complain too much about it, because at least i have insurance, and my life isn't bad. i have a lot to be grateful for.

I don't know about anyone else, but I love being a grown-up...I just don't trust being a grown-up, get it?

I'm stilling trying very hard to grow up. However, up till now, I haven't managed very well.

I allways thought that when I would be a grown up I would get my driverslicense. I still don't have it, so that sort of excuses me for being childlike. In my mind.

I spent $75 to get my car serviced today.

I know someone who don't work and gets £1700 a Month in Benefits, Thats more than what my Wife earns and she is a freakin Paramedic who goes out risking her life with all the other Emergency Services Crews and Saves Lives, or for the most part transports Drunken idiots to Hospitals.

This person recently had a fuckin Holiday abroad, we cannot even afford to take our Kids to Blackpool never mind oversea's. Got to love how the "We cannot be arsed to get out of Bed and do a goddamn thing, cuz we know how to fuck teh system and have no qualms doing it" Brigade get everything in this country.
