Picture this: Six skinny japanese men wearing only fig leaves, strutting around on stage singing a song so happy it almost makes you want to go kill something. If that didn't bother, yet strangely amuse you, you probably won't get the attraction of Yatta! Originally done as a video on the Japanese sketch comedy show Silly-Go-Lucky, Yatta is the culmination of their sketch series Happa-tai, rougly translated to "Leaf Squad" about a boyband type group that wears nothing but a single fig leaf. In Japanese, Yatta means "I did it" literally, but is more like "Yeah" in common usage.

He simply said, "This is why Japan's crime rates are so low" and some other stuff, which of course piqued my interest! And so, I downloaded it. I laughed so hard, I nearly wet myself. Later, Ogg performed it for me at the Key Twin Cinema whilst we waited around for Star Wars Episode Dos. He also did some sort of drunk boxing stuff with this kid..Adam.  -------
