Boardwalk Empire Epi 18: The Age of Reason

Alright now popcorn If you are on the east coast, there's less than hour left for showtime!!!

Summary: While Nucky arranges a delivery in Philadelphia that may put him in danger, the attorney general encounters a dilemma that could cause complications for Nucky's case; an unlikely friendship develops between Jimmy and the commodore's lawyer.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Agent Nelson back this epi. Can Lucy not sit like that in the chair please? But to see Nelson sweat after nearly getting called out by his burned badly subordinate was kind of satisfying. I feel for Lucy, but why does she have the mind of a 5 year old? She should had been yelling out the window for help right after her water broke. You mean Nelson didn't prep her for what to do if she went into labor? Anywho, seems that she made it out okay. The suspense when Nelson finally got back to the apartment and him walking to her room was unnerving. But OH SNAP ROSE GOT THERE!!!! popcorn Nelson telling her "I did this for us" such bullshit, glad she hit him and saw through that nonsense.

Sigh. Margaret is really sucking ass. What does she care if the Irish guy and the maid like each other. If I'm not mistaken, she sounds like she's jealous cause she wants him to jump her bones. She was too obvious when she asked Nucky if he wasn't attracted to her anymore...it's really the other way around. I don't think she's all that attracted to Nucky anymore. Why does she always get nervous when the Irish guy comes into her presence? It's like her panties get wet or something and she afraid that someone is going to find out. It's so amazing, you go from your husband whupping your ass, caused you to lose your 3rd child and now you acting all high and mighty??? The fuck is her problem? lol She's more criminalistic than Nucky is. I can't figure her ass out. Is she trying to hold on to her "fortune" with Nucky or is she thinking of ways to mess it up?

Nucky is hilarious!!! "Well tell George Remus he can go fuck himself". So now that the attorney general has turned on him, will Nucky get out of his legal troubles?

Jimmy sure does love cutting people's throats doesn't he? Shootout!!! Then a deal!!!! popcorn

Next week excited So what is Nelson going to do about his situation? Is Rose going to leave him? How is Nucky going to deal with his legalities? Is Jimmy the new head mofo in town? Is that deal going to get a green light? Is Margaret going to end up bed with Nucky's new assistant? Questions, questions questions!!!!!

spit And then for him to call it "making love"? spit

Don't know when Chalky going to go off, but I think it's going to be sooner than we think.

Well as for as Jimmy is concerned, I think he's still trying to get comfortable in his newfound "role". He's not used to leading, but used to taking orders even though he really doesn't like taking orders from no one. At the same time, he's not 100% confident that he can lead and conduct business either. His mother keeps pushing him to be this "powerful" man like his father but they are completely two different people.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

So can somebody explain why that crazy cop ( nelson??? ) that knocked up nucky's old girlfriend......why did he pay that bootlegger dude anyway??? remember when that other cop tried to bust him at the distillary when it exploded....was he really trying to buy liquor or is it a set up????

Did Margaret/ peggy fake her death to her family????? a couple of shows ago. I was confused when the family claimed she was dead when the irish made called them and asked for margaret/ peggy????

Initially I thought it was a set up when he paid the Doyle guy but giving Agent Nelson's nervous reaction when he thought the guy who got burned in the explosion was telling on him, I'm thinking maybe it was some type of illegal payment.

No I think she left and they didn't want her to leave, so when she had the maid to call that's when they were like "oh she died" as if they consider her "dead to them" since she left. At least that's what I got from it. Otherwise, she would had called herself instead of acting like she was scared to contact them.

okay, so for a while i'm thinking/wondering if this (pictured below) guy is going to go for jimmy's wife or visa versa. but now i think jimmy's wife is okay, what with the new clothes, nice home and all.

Jack Huston is fine and he's from england. i really liked the way jimmy befriended this character in Bdwlk Empr. as we all know, huston plays the part of richard harrow, a severely disfigured World War I marksman turned gangster. i mean for him to come through as a monotonal almost robotic personality with human emotions and feelings, imo is great acting.

also i do like raspiness of his voice in his characterization of r harrow. the man got some acting skills.

side bar > the slash/kill of that guy hanging upside down in the butcher shop has kinda (momentarily) turned me off to jimmy. but hey, i still think michael pitt is fine.

This Jack Huston is Richard or whatever his name is??? eek He is fine!!! WOW! Johnny Depp-ish fine.....

On to the episode:

I'm sick and tired of seeing the pregnant lady. I can't even remember her name. Why was she on so much of this episode??? I was sooooo happy Rose reacted the way she did to her husband....did he honestly think she would go for that "I did this for us"??? Really???

Margaret is slick as hell. She's not only gonna be stashing money, but she's gon' be gettin' her "freak on" on the side. Nucky loves her and er'thing, but when things start poppin' off she'd better hope he never finds out. Again, he is a criminal. All types of sh*t come with that lifestyle. She can get it too.....

I love William Forsythe's character's accent. I don't know his name yet. Jimmy lucked out when he noticed William's guy in A.C. Was that Lucky Luciano they made the deal with in the woods?? If it was, that's how his ass is gonna be saved.

Yes Mr. Huston is quite easy on the eyes. You all do realize that he's Angelica Huston's nephew right?

The pregnant lady's name is Lucy. I guess they showed so much of her this episode because they didn't show her at all last week. And yes I loved Rose's reaction as well.

I wouldn't worry about Margaret. After she starts getting the dick from Slater, she'll be sure to hide that secret well enough. Remember she thinks just like Nucky does, if not better.

Yes that was Lucky and Meyer Lansky in the woods that made the deal with Jimmy.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

When they showed Richard in his dream sequence, I thought, "Wow! eek"

That is one fine-lookin' man! nod
