Question: who are these "stars"? But glad to see Derek back.

The irony is that if your asked to do the show and you do the sow your probably not a star.

I watched some of it; on fastforward. Will try to get on board (with Arquette on this season, there'll probably be even more Dancing talk on Stern than usual ).

I have not watched this show in a very long time but my roomate loves TV as much as it bores me so it has become "our" time. It seems each year there is one genuine star, this year it's Arquette. What I like this year is there isn't anyone that is the sure winner, the way that Pussycat Doll's vixen was. Let's face it if your a figure skater or whatever kind of dancing you call that Pussycat stuff you have a huge lead.

Pleasant suprises, Chaz Bono's personality, that lawyer/ news reporter has some natural dance ability and Geoge Clooney's ex clearly does not.

very true...does not seem to be a stand out shoe in. I thought Nacy Grace was cute...she did pretty good. Chaz did quite well too.

Nancy and Chaz were two little fatties that made this fat girl (me) proud. Ricky Lake was another fat success, very very graceful.

hehehe....took me awhile to warm up to the looks of Max but indeed his is HOT. His brother though....prolly gonna take me a while to warm up to his looks too. Oh yeah..the irish guy was sure cute...love that accent too.

Maksim was the Russian (Ukrainian) "Bachelor" - don't know how that ended up though, supposedly he got "engaged" at the end of the show. He's HOT!

Does popularity count with you? Personally that Nancy lady makes me sick with her over generalizations but I want her to stay because she has potential and can dance. I will be mad if people kick her off and let that Elizabetta with the 2 left feet and spaghetti arms stay. Even though I would probably like Elizabetta more than Nancy as a neighbor, she needs to leave sooner than any of the others IMO.

For me, No. I don't even really know these "stars," let alone care about them/popularity. So I want talent to stay.

But the pros have gotten more famous than their "star" partners, so I know some people are voting for their favorite pro to stay. I think that's why some pros have won multiple times - there's kind of a popularity contest going on among the pros.
