^ maybe you could use two charged fields to repel each other. a serires of magnetic off/on pulses cycling around to generate forward momentum to cross long distances. like, the way a bolo moves geek

The "magnets" are already there.

In the form of countless millions of magnetically-charged planets, stars, and other heavenly bodies that are scattered throughout the cosmos.

Too much distance between them though.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Yes, I think UFOs harness gravity or the earth's magnetic field in order to work. So they are one step ahead as to how they do it. How they get over G-forces is another question as they move at such speed any occupants would seriously be affected!

They may not even travel through space, they may be able to break the speed of light in which case they can time travel. What we see as 'aliens' may actually be our future generations coming back...?!?!

why would it have it to be future generations? could be past too.

point more seems to be that when you can travel with the speed of light, you can time travel.

only question is: how?

^ Why could it be past generations? We haven't invented time travel yet have we? Therefore they'd have to be from the future?!

The fact the aliens look different (small with big black eyes and telepathic ability) could indicate these are further evolved humans or at least humans interbred with something such as dolphins (hence the grey skin).

I so don' t even begin to understand this which make me sad. I have lost my connection to science once I stopped taking college courses. I need to make some geeky friends to help me get my brain back. Lammastide, will you be my friend?

Ahh...the whole "lost ancient civilization" or "Atlantis" theory?

Been meaning to read "Fingerprints of the Gods" for a while now. nod

hmmm

When is it exactly that the secrets of the Sphinx is supposed to come to light? Anyone know? Didn't Edgar Cayce prophesize the rising of Atlantis soon?

Why couldn't it be? Maybe time travel has been "invented" already but you don't know it yet.

First of all I have a great deal of respect for you and would never comment on a post of yours without reading it through.

Secondly I admire geeks and frankly anyone who cares more about their passions in life then they do about how other people view them.

Thirdly your choice of topics is unique and I wish you would start threads on GD more often.
