Wine.
Not really because I want to be polite. I can't drink the cheap piss people here usually serve to guests.
I'm really an arrogant twat when I write this type of shit sometimes. |

I always contribute to the food, if it's that sort of party - I'm known for my desserts, in particular. And if it's a "party party" (by which I mean an actual event planned by the host and hostess, as opposed to an on-the-fly gathering), I always bring a hostess gift of some sort - usually a nice bottle of wine.
do u make or buy the desert - cause i am not that good in the kitchen, so i always buy it, that way i know it tastes good!!! and yes small gifts and tokens are never taken 4 granted.

Here's customary to bring wine or a bouquet of flowers, so I do one or the other depending on the time of day and type of party.
Yesterday after service we went to a potluck Sunday Dinner for 12. My contributions:
Cauliflower Soup with Shaved Pecorino and white Truffle Oil
Panfried Chicken Breast cut into medallions w/ Sundried Tomatoes and (Chantrelle) Mushrooms
and Lemon Green Beans (Princess Cut)

I eat these for dinner all the damn time. Looooooove. Fast, easy and nutritious. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

No, I get what you are saying. I used to drink cheap red wine until I moved abroad and was schooled on good wines. Now I can't drink the really cheap stuff. Saying that though, some times you can find the good stuff on sale. Win-Win!
Cheers! |

Girl, one of our girlfriends was leaving on an extended trip back home to the States for ministry purposes; we had to hook her and the family up on this "last supper" together The other folks brought their fair share too- we were determined that she not cook a thing, and the kids would have leftovers for at least 2 days before their Dad starts breaking out pizza and french fries |
