Halloween is my Christmas, favourite time of year!! Friday 28th October I'm heading to:-

Bedlam events hold raves every three months at an old Napoleonic fort about fifteen minutes walk from my house. Its a fantastic venue for a dance event, even more so on Halloween. And its fancy dress!! Last years was amazing, I'll have to stick some photos up of it.

Saturday 29th I'm making proper Halloween (as its on a Monday, so a work day...boo hiss) so I'm having an open house...scary movies on all day, pumpkin carving, candle-lit walk in the woods next to our house, much consuming of beer and snacks!

Monday I'm having the evening in to watch John Carpenter's Halloween (one of my all time faves but I only ever watch it on Oct 31st!) probably followed by original Friday 13th, Shining or something like that...topped of with a horror comedy(gotta finish on something up-beat) Shaun of the Dead, Young Frankenstein, etc.

Eye will proberbly b bitch slapping aload of kids 4 constantly knocking my door 4 sweets....These r my Cherry Ripes.....so kindly Fuck Off...

I'll be home with the lights out and the TV on. I don't feel like buying candy and jumping up every 5 minutes to go to the door for the lil bastids. Plus I tend to get those surly teenages who get real particular about which candy bar they want adn then want to take a fist full.

I would also assume since you dress up for acting-it's not as a cool thing as it is for those who don't.

There are some actors who love it and others despise it.

Very nice jack-o-lanterns John. But they are not scary?!

As for what I'm doing? Not certain as of yet. But I will not be in costume. I'm always invited to a Halloween party-it's a multi family get together (It's mainly about the kids). May go there at least for a bit. As for my home outside decor-Maybe I'll post pictures one day. But not this year-I'm not doing my dramatic scary shadows on my house (I wont be home). I, however, have someone staying at my house to give out candy.

on halloween night our church is having a trick or treat for the kids in the community, so we will take our son, he's looking forward to it. they are going to have a corn maze and fun games this year.

our son is going to be Iron Man this year.

oh, and halloween is my dad's birthday.

Unfortunately this area doesn't have anything like haunted hayrides or haunted houses, or anything like Ottawa has...so my guy and I are going to take my son and niece to our local Boo At the Zoo (daytime event) sometime on the weekend.

Other than that, not sure.

But of course, I'll be taking the boy trick or treating on Monday. He's going as Shadow the Hedgehog (which is turning out to be one hell of a costume to make) and I think I am going to go out as a witch.
