Has anyone seen this one yet? Someone who saw it over the weekend said she read that the last 15 minutes would be intense, and she pretty much agreed. So, I was gettin' kind of hyped for it (and the movie in general). What a damn yawn fest!!!! The entire thing. Very disappointing.

So, what did y'all think?

I haven't seen any on them, but the kids were talking about it.

One said it was better than the last one, one said it sucked.

Eye enjoyed it Alex.....Eye like all 3....went 2 the 3rd on Monday...It made me jump afew times and eye found the daftest things creepy....The noise of the fishtank bubbling......The camera fixed 2 the rotating fan....The bloody mary bloody mary part....Eye enjoyed it alot...They have a certain feel 2 them..And the shit at the end with the grandma...she was in on the whole thing....Wtf....

It was ok... I feel the same way about all of them. They made me jump a few times, but the endings always kinda suck a little bit.

The thing I hate about ALL of them is the fact that you gotta wait about an hour before anything really happens. I have to make sure I have coffee before I go and see one because otherwise I'd fall asleep.

lol...me too! we all had a good laugh b/c everyone was screaming, but at the wrong parts.

The trailer was not the same as the movie, which was good b/c it made it unpredictable. I liked the kitchen part & the white sheet. its the stuff you DONT see that will GET YA!

You are so right. That's why I'm waiting until it hits DVD, like I did with the last two.

These movies are also about the party atmosphere of a packed theater (at least the first one was for sure. That's part of the fun, and I think if watched at home, and alone, it's a completely different thing. Probably not as good.

(remember the first one started as a movie that you requested to show in your city by an online vote count, and then it would show only at midnight on the weekend, it felt like you were going to a fun party)

Grandma looked creepy anyway, so it was almost a given that was somehow mixed up in the shit. But, there were only a couple of decent, "action" parts until the very end. The Bloody Mary part, as you mentioned, and the kitchen furniture up on the ceiling for a second (now THAT was funny, cuz she was so dead set against going anywhere so they can get some normalcy back; but when that shit happened, she was damn near the first one out the door! )

But, the ending absolutely sucked for me. I actually thought 1 and 2 were about neck and neck with maybe 2 edging it out a little, but this one just blew to me. Was it ever explained why the family made a pact with this demon to give up a first born son in the first place??

I have to say that I love the franchise. I know that a lot of stuff doesn't really happen in the movies but I love the "feel" of them. Creepy.

I have a question. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a different version of this movie out in cyberspace. I say this because the stuff in the trailers aren't in the movie.

I remember when Paranormal Acitivity, the first one, came out I decided to download it and it was a slightly different movie. Different ending and more scenes. Then I got the blu-ray and it had even yet another alternate ending. So there are 3 endings.

Thank you for mentinoing this. I saw it in Santa Cruz, California (Santa Carla in the original LOST BOYS movie) with my cousins and 1001 college kids. It was soooo much fun and so hilarious.

We got there late and we couldn't get seated together so I had to sit by these 4 surfer dudes. It was around the middle of the film when one of the guys was like "Dude...tell me this isn't real. TELL ME THIS ISN'T REAL!!!!" I must of fell out laughing 'cause he was serious. I guess he thought it was a documentary or something.

I saw it last night, & I liked it. I actually liked it better than part 2. The ending was interesting...

Yeah, I agree with Dave - the oscillating fan was a touch of brilliance!

Did anyone mention how hot the dad was?
