i read the transcript.....i don't understand...her probation is revoked, but she's not sent directly to jail?

I didn't have time to watch the whole thing, but I can tell you this: the judge is pissed. And I think she's ordered her to work at the morgue.

The snippets I saw were great

Anyways, bond was posted...ergo, she walks until her Nov 2nd appearance.

The judge is going to throw the book at her for sure, and my hunch is that she's going to receive jail time (possibly a year and a half). But, the California jail system being what it is, she will leave jail sooner.

Oh, I definitely feel for public defenders. I used to cover the courts here (county, state and federal) as a journalist - and was amazed at what they managed to do for what they received.

I saw that, too - on Gawker. They had a REAL close-up. and

Such a tragic trainwreck made out of a life that could be so wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen her act, but I'm told she's quite good?

Yuck! And it's odd because IMO her face does not look terrible. She has some healthy cheek pinchability. She doesn't look like a crack addict to me.

I'm glad Charlie's career is on track again, he's on some new show now isn't he? Still, it must've been a kick in the balls to see his character on Two and a Half Men get killed off.

I've only seen Lindsay in Mean Girls and that Parent Trap remake, they weren't serious movies, but her acting was convincing, it was better than a lot of other teenage actresses I've seen.

Hopefully she'll sort herself, and her hair, and teeth, out soon.

Mine definately do. I need braces. I haven't smiled properly in a few years.

She must wear those snap on teeth because I've seen other photos where her grill was not that fucked up.

Poor thing. She just needed some effective rehab, less ass kissers and leeches on her payroll, and a strong family unit to keep her grounded. Seems like the more successful she became the more problems she had.

She's like Wynona Ryder without the girlfriend and the peroxide.

Remember Wynona's arrest for shoplifting and the alleged addiction to prescription meds (she forged the prescriptions), her trial for the shoplifting and the fact that her film career pretty much went downhill.

Personally, I think the break up with Johnny Depp did it. His star shined and hers faded.

Oh, I see. I thought you meant that Winona'd had the girlfriend and the peroxide.

Apparently, WR did (and does) have a strong family unit, which makes her case all the more puzzling.

Regardless, Ryder should've copped to the truth, gone into therapy (if she did, she didn't publicly announce it) and asked the public for forgiveness. People love a comeback story.

Got bad advice and listened to it. Or got good advice and ignored it.

She does seem to play fast and loose with the truth. But something about the way she said it made me believe she was for real.
