I agree with a lot of it, though I end up saying some of it to shut others up too, though now I realize maybe it's inviting comments. The you're lucky you're single one was irritating, I've had that, or getting invited somewhere with "cute guys" after a breakup, as if I need to fill a void that I don't need to. But number 1 is the one I get the most. I don't want anyone, but at the same time, I do feel alone too though I have family and lots of friends, I have too much going on mentally to keep a relationship and don't feel wired for one. And every guy I've met is so horny, and the one I gave into used my weaknesses to lure me in.

I am a single mother as well... although, I was never married. I know your mother's struggle 1st hand.

She had no mack game whatsoever. Truthfully, she was not that attractive but her real problem was her lack of people skills and not knowing how to seduce a man. I had to go to HR on her once for innapropriate sexual language. Can you believe that? I complained a woman's sexual behavior and language?? That's how pathetic her game was. And she kept on getting in trouble for being loud and confrontational with dudes that she liked or the women they were involved with.

I know not all women act like that, but some of them can be very stupid and give us all a bad name, and then guys think it's okay to treat us like shit cause "we're desperate." But the ones who act like that are usually very emotionally needy and sexually too, and if they don't have the social skills to know that, they also lack boundaries overall and no one has taught them about what is appropriate and what isn't, and people like that are very easy to take advantage of. I'm not bashing others by saying all this, but I have had a few friends like this and tried to help them, but I've just given up cause there is no stopping them. I found myself in a weird situation too and tried my best to take control, but I knew I was being disrespected though in the end, I made the choice to say enough is enough and I understood my actions and overanalysed them, and they lacked that for themselves, cause there was no one to tell them but me. This was before my situation and also another one after mine. And don't get me wrong, I understand the dynamics behind why many women find themselves in situations or acting out cause they are learned behaviours from society and their family and peers, so I don't agree with blaming them if something outrageous happened or blaming them for what they wear, but in terms of attitude and actions, there has to be self-respect somewhere there and knowing when to draw the line, and when you've given up on giving advice to those you care about who keep coming to you and they don't change, you lose respect for them. I guess it's easier helping people from afar with this kind of thing even though I get sad for their circumstances, cause I don't bring the problems home with me.
