The Rosie Show on OWN

Did anyone catch Rosie O'Donnel's new show on OWN? I'm just starting to watch the premiere show and it is setup similar to Carol Burnette's old show. Not a bad thing. She is funny so far. Anyone catch it yet?

I do not have cable so I can't watch. I am a fan of Rosie and I miss her other show, and her being on the View. I read about her new show and I think it will be entertaining to watch. She said that she wants to talk to the guests longer. On other shows, the segments are only a few minutes. That is not enough time to talk to the guests. I agree.

I wonder if she and D. Trump are friends now? He is a sensitive man. His hair is bad, that is the truth. As the saying goes "The truth hurts" That was funny how offended he got by her comments.

I saw the episode with Wanda Sykes. I thought it was slow and clunky. It doesn't feel funny or like a well oiled machine yet. I stopped watching about midway through...or at least i fast forwarded through a hefty portion of it.

How do you mean? confuse

She was promoting it on Stern, the other day. Trying to get Howard to come on for the hour (or however long it is).

The way she does her monolog is very similar to Carol Burnett (especially the first night or 2). She had the curtain, talks to the audience and does some little song to open the show similar to what Carol used to do.

Then she goes into the typical late-night talk show mode for 30 or so minutes, then plays a game (like Jimmy Fallon or Jimmy Kimmell)

It drags, though. Something's missing from her formula.

I said the same thing. I sat and watched about 3 episodes this weekend and I just can't put my finger on what is missing.

The Carol Burnett show was a wonderful show. That is nice that Rosie

is doing something similar in her new show. She is an Aries, a Fire sign, and

they are full of suprises.
