'An Education'

I guess I'm a little late to the party. I just watched it. Well done, as far as these things go (although the need to make the Sarsgaard character Jewish was not a need at all and one wonders about the motivation for that).

lol I know! Very astute of you to notice! My mother loved An Education, so I agreed to give it a spin. Possibly next up: Somewhere, The Invention of Lying and/or Superbad.

Seen any of these?

The Invention of Lying is mildly entertaining, but that's about it.

Somewhere is a lot like Lost In Translation. If you liked that film (I loved it) then Somewhere should appeal to you. I think it's at least worth seeing for the twin pole dancers:

I like "talky" flicks and I once stayed at the Marmont, so it intrigues me. We'll see... Thanks, sex!
