Butthurt? Don't get hysterical. Simply pointing out inconsistencies and the use of Political correctness to make moviegoers think the Ultimate Nick Fury is the original character. If they're going to use characters from that universe, then go all the way.
Lol! I highly doubt a comic book movie has some kind of hidden political agenda. |

So Loki's the villain? Wonder if they'll follow the comic-book origin - Loki tricking the Hulk into going on a rampage, and the heroes teaming up to stop him.
Too bad they couldn't work things out with Norton. Ruffalo isn't convincing as Bruce Banner at all. [Edited 10/11/11 21:04pm] |

You blinked and you missed it...and I agree, Ed Norton made an awesome Bruce Banner, I lament his departure from the project.

Why must they use the Nick Fury from the Ultimate Universe in the Marvel Films? And why, for the love of God, isn't the Black Window portrayed as Russian, as she should be?
Ultimate Nick Fury was used because otherwise there would be no people of color in any of the major roles.
Black Widow is indeed Russian. It was revealed in Iron Man 2 that her real name is Natasha Romanoff. And she would not be a good spy if she couldn't pull off an authentic American accent, right?
But the Black Panther, The Falcon, The Cloak & Night Thrasher where actual Black Avengers characters One minute they want peace……
Then do everything to make it go away. |

With the exception of Black Panther, none of those guys deserves to be part of the very first Avengers movie. And Black Panther would need his own movie first.
Funny thing about the Falcon is that he was recruited to be an Avenger for the exact same reason we are discussing now. |
