I had a few of my friends over yesterday to watch the Patriots-Jets game. They were clowning me because I didnt hang out on Saturday (hanging out consisting of watching college football all day, drinking, smoking...the same shit we were doing on Sunday) and instead went to Temecula with my wife for a wine tasting party. "YOU'RE WHIPPED! PUSSY! BITCH!" So I told them to look around...where are my 11 and 9 year old kids? Wifey took them to her sisters so me and my boys wouldnt be bothered. Where's my wife right now? In the kitchen making us another round of sandwiches. And why do we never watch the game at that place you claim is "your house"? Because your wife wont allow it. I was told to fuck off so I reminded them that the Saints had won earlier and that I watched the game in bed eating breakfast that my wife cooked.

Now I don't know if their wives/girlfriends have fuck buddies, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they did. A lot of men don't know the meaning of give and take.

Im my experience, the "being cute" thing is a test to see how u respond. If u give them signals that u might be actually interested, if they're interested in return they'll cut the cute act and make it a bit more obvious. Then its all up to you to close the deal.

Its hard though knowing which woman is serious about the buddy part of the fuck buddy thing and which ones are going to immediately try to pin you down and marry you...

For me its always ended up with emotions involved. I have an hypothesis though that if u really treated a fuck buddy like one of your male friends as soon as the sex is done then they wont see u as marriage material so the fuck buddy relationship may last a long time. But ive never actually done that because when im around hot people all i think about is having sex with them which sabotages my attempts at thinking with my brain. I may give it a try though if im ever single again.

I think that there are times when commitment is not appropriate but sexual intimacy is longed for. It takes a bit of honesty with yourself and what you truly desire at any given time to be a friend with benifits. There are people in commited relationships that they don't really work on or put any time into because what they really wanted was a friend with benefits and they didn't feel comfortable being honest about that.

If anything you need to be more aware of your feelings and the feelings of the other person because it could all blow up in your face if your in any type of denial.

There is also a responsibility that comes with commitment and it takes an honest person IMO to say "I am not ready for that". I do not admire people who marry and then put zero time into their relationship and wonder why it isn't going well.
