WTF???? So Margaret isn't Margaret???? Lawd I'm bout to get confused. So who the hell is Margaret Shroder? I don't know who's writing this but I think I like it!!!!
I loved, loved, loved it when Nucky when over to the Commodore's table and knocked his plate of lobster off the table. Hilarious!! It was like a bitch fight. Loved that scene!!! WTF did Jimmy think he was going to do with Nucky in public like that? That was the "Sonny" in him coming out I guess. For real, I like Jimmy but I think Nucky is going to do exactly as he said he was going to do "ruin them all".
So is the young Irishman going to be Nucky's savior???? I was think Harrow was going to kill that young guy.
Poor Lucy, I really did feel sorry for her this episode. She's so childlike though. I didn't know Nelson was holding her hostage. Dang, little do she know, once she has that kid, he kicking her ass out on the street....that is if she doesn't come up missing instead. Couldn't tell at the end when she was dancing to the music if he was looking at her in disgust or if he wished he could tap dat ass again.
Season is heating up!!!! Can't wait until next week!!! [Edited 10/9/11 19:14pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Richard sure does...I just want to him. He's a lot like how Furio was on "The Sopranos". Fierce hit man but a sensitive good guy on the inside with hopes of having a wife and family.
Nucky is very smooth...but is Margaret smoother than Nucky?
Another thing about Margaret, I don't like how she plays that two-faced role with the maids. When she's down and out she tries to act understanding with them like they are equal but once she's happy again and on the up and up with Nucky, she's back to being the "bitch of the house" and in that "know your role" attitude. Margaret IS Margaret... Peggy is short for Margaret, the way we somehow get Dick from Richard or Jack from John. She said that she didn't have a good parting of the ways with her siblings, so when she called and asked for "Peggy", I guess her brother said she is dead.... to them.
I can't even remember what the Commodore looked like before. Creepy.
It was interesting that Jimmy said, "Which One?" when she asked about dinner with his father... Do you think he's going back to Nucky?
I can't wait for Chalky to be free! He's going to bring out the industrial-strength Whoopass...
Good episode!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh okay. Thanks for clearing that up.
Oh I remember what the Commodore looked like, an old fart head with grey hair.
Either Jimmy is going to go back to Nucky or go off with Meyer and Luciano's crew. I somehow feel that the Commodore is going to disappoint Jimmy really soon.
I can't wait until Chalky comes back on the scene too. It's going to get really good then!!!! I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

It was touching when he acknowledged Nucky as his father. .....

What did you guys think about the scene with Eli and his (and Nucky's) father? I'm wondering if Eli felt any guilt when his father was talking to him as if he was Nucky at the end of the scene.
And also do you think Angela truly resents Jimmy and his mother's "close" relationship? Looks like there's some tension there as well. [Edited 10/9/11 19:38pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Eli has always been jealous of Nucky.. AS for Angela... she is a lesbian.. she resents Jimmy because he kept her from her lover... .....

I don't think so. She told him she turned to that other woman because she was lonely. I think that it has a lot to do with his relationship with his mother. They are very close. They have private conversations and exclude her, and last week his mother overruled her with her son.

Yes you are right, Eli has always been jealous of Nucky, but I'm wondering if somewhere deep inside if he does have a heart....or is he just really truly a selfish asshole. Looks like Jimmy still has a heart for Nucky, even though he currently isn't on his side.
I think she really does love Jimmy, but she doesn't possess a closeness with Jimmy that I believe she wants to have. It could be that Jimmy doesn't want her to know his "business" and just remain in her role as his wife. Plus, Jimmy and his mom both grew up together so I guess that closeness would be expected between the both of them. But at the same time I can understand how Angela resents being "in the dark" once she walks in the room. [Edited 10/9/11 20:02pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

That scene with Eli and his father hit home in a way. My Mother took care of my Grandfather until he died, bathing him, changing him and feeding him... She is the only daughter, and my uncles did nothing except stop by ever once in a while. Yet, he constantly talked about "his boys" and said hurtful things to my Mom.
Eli came home to a small house full of wild kids, and had to change his dad and get him all cleaned up, as he was going on about Nucky... who has servants and lives a plush life. "Love Hurts. That Doyle guy makes my skin crawl and irritates the hell out of me with that "wimper" he gives in his voice.
Plus Nelson is scary too. He's unpredictable. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I also loved it when Harrow set Al Capone straight, kinda, after he insulted him. After Capone suggested to Jimmy that "Frankenstein" put a bullet in Nucky's head to eliminate the problem and Harrow said "I won't do that"...Capone looked at him in disgust, as if Harrow was a servant out of order and said "Won't?"...then Harrow cocked his head to the side and gave Capone a cement stare.
