Need tech advice - best bargain laptop out there??? So for a person with very limited funds who wants/needs a laptop...something with decent battery life, not alot of bells & whistles, but fast.
I don't do gaming, just web-browsing AND some type of photoshop.
I take zillions of pictures and would like to create slideshow movies and (watch out Imago) create animated gifs and such.
I see laptops out there for as low as $350 but I am not savvy enough to know if they're junk or not.

I can't really help you on the tech aspect, but as far as "bargains" you could check out pawn shops for laptops. You may be able to find a better one for a lower price. Of course, it probably wouldn't come with a warranty or anything like that; and you may have to buy your own software. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

I never really thought of that...

What's your budget?
This is a good model - http://www.ebay.com/itm/A...033wt_1139
I have a similar one but with higher specs. But even with the lower specs it's still no slouch and a very decent machine. |
