Have you decorated for Halloween yet?

I haven't. I was going to this weekend but ran out of time.

I will start on it this week!

October is my favorite month of the year! I can't wait to decorate the house!

Post pictures of your Halloween decorations if you've got them!

Very kewl!

It's not a tradition in Holland.

Allthough, the people who see it as a commercial oppertunity try to get it into our system too. shrug

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I put out a cauldron that when on is lit up like a burning fire and scary jack-o-lanterns. I only put them out on Halloween. I also have the porch lit in black lite only on Halloween.

Although, I could project the nightmare before christmas shadows against the house to add to the atmosphere-but not this year. Again only done on Halloween.

I haven't decorated yet this year, but I always carve a really big singular pumpkin

that I put in my kitchen window for the trick or treaters...it's right next to the front door.

Anyway, here's the big white pumpkin I carved last year...

Sorry it's so big lol I should have resized the pic I guess.

It wasn't an easy color to find, but one of the grocery stores here started carrying about 10-12

different varieties of pumpkins just last year. They also had a minty green variety that I've never seen before....

but it didn't look very Halloweenie lol

I used to when my kids were little. But since they are grown I go for the run-away-scared decor. razz I also have creepy music playing in the window...you know, screams, rattling chains, howling wolves. Halloween is my favorite holiday.
