Maryland has 23 inches of snow! I've been stuck in the house since Saturday. I love my family, but if I don't get out of here soon I'm going to explode.

And God help us, it's snowing AGAIN!! I am plotting my escape. The bottom of my car won't clear the snow on the ground. I am about to walk to the store. Somebody send help - send a plow or even a hummer would be nice!

This really has to stop.

We got a fair amount of snow here in Indianapolis, but nothing like what folks on the East Coast got. I think we lucked out. Although the roads aren't great (the city hasn't done a very good job of plowing them), they're passable.

Has anyone else realized that this "blizzard" comes exactly 25 years to the month after the "Blizzard of '78"? I have no memories of it, because I wasn't born until a month later, but I've heard the stories from people who lived through it (e.g., people were cross-country skiing up and down the street in front of our apartment) and read media accounts. Here's what it was like in my birthplace, Boston:

Holy Cow! We got lucky with this one. Only got about three inches from that storm in Detroit.
I feel really bad for you guys who were affected! Stay warm and drink lots of hot chocolate and tea.

Now they're saying that there will be '2 billion gallons of water' when all the snow melts and another '2 billion gallons of rain' when a rain storm hits that is going to cause major flooding...they make everything sound so scary with those '2 billion gallons'...!!! ......

sick...of...snow...can't...take...any...more!
we got about 22 inches or so...this time...but we're about to break the record for most snow ever!
the snow bankings are so friggin' high I can't see diddly to pull out on to a road way! err! and maybe more wet snow this weekend! NOOO!!!
