woodworkers, how did you learn your craft?

I'm getting interested in woodworking and kind of wish I could make a career out of putting together arts & crafts furniture and stuff like that, but that's a long long way away. For now it's birdhouses and simple things. I'm having fun with it. It's relaxing and fun and a way to be creative.

Any wood people out there? How did you learn?

Im self taught...

Whats funny is for xmas my inlaws would buy me power tools and theyd buy my husband cooking stuff lol

I sure I could! I made an armoire once! It was bigger than a coffin!

It was an odd thing 2 ask but when i see a coffin i respect the work thats gone in2 it....thats takes some skill tinaz.....
