No...we stayed on Long Island...the most dangerous wildlife we could encounter here is a rabid raccoon or possum
I told the kids this would be a "test run" and if all went well, then next year we'll plan a "real" trip to upstate New York or New Jersey. THERE we technically could encounter bears although I think that the Park Rangers do a good job of keeping them at bay.

I love Camping, we are planning a trip to France next year with the Kids, My Wife and Kids have never been Camping before so should be fun, especially a Teenager without her luxuries for a couple of weeks Life is short, don't be a dick.
