That study fails to mention all the throat cancer popping up now... some are saying its because of HPV. Or something like that... who knows?

I was just trying to be silly, didn't work. Anyway, as far as this study goes there are so many factors in play that probably weren't even looked at, it was just blurp like so many other blurps. Personally, when I get serious I have a many of question and that article don't answer any of them.

He was here, whined about being banned, and the next thing you know he was gone again... and those posts were removed.

than anyone else I know, and "they" keep letting him come back.

I had a friend who was banned once...for a minor infraction and allowed back. Even though

he was allowed back, he came back under a different name...had another minor infraction

and was banned for good. How lousy is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The second time around he challenged a moderator with a ligit question, but apparently that mod

couldn't take the heat and banned this member for good. I think that mod is still around... rarely,

however. He just wanted to throw his weight around, I believe, cuz he was fairly new at the time.

On top of all that, at this particular time p.org was actually asking for complaints to see how they

could fix things...obviously this was a few years back...so my friend voiced his complaint and boom!

he was gone as fast as you could blink an eye.

about his bans. I actually don't really know this guy, since I seldom come into the discussion

forum anyway. But all I ever see is the for-mentioned comment when I do come in here!

This man has found more ways to offend/shock/annoy people and then act like he didn't know what he's done. I swear... my students do that. (ex: walk down the hall talking on their cellphones, and then throwing tantrums when they are confiscated because they broke the rule! )

I don't know if it's a game, or if his comprehension is off, but enough is enough. Figure out what you did wrong and learn from it...

We all have people we've "bonded with" on here, but I can't see taking up for someone who consistently breaks the rules/pisses off others and then acts like he was a victim.

Well first of all, I'm not whining. I do know the guy and I have a right to say how I feel about him. However, from what I just read it looks you're doing quite a bit of whining about your friend being banned.

Second of all, I think some folks are a little too sensitive. Maybe it was a game to davetherave. Maybe it wasn't. The fact is that there's some folks on here that have said way more insensitive, offensive, shit-starting things on here than davetherave did and they are never banned. Perhaps some mods on here give certain folks a pass and then there's some the mods just don't like so they ban them at the drop of a dime. Whatever the case, it's inconsistent and yes, very unfair.

Of course you have the right to say how you feel about him, as I have the right to say what I

feel about my friend. And yes, maybe I am whining about his ban, but come on, two infractions!

That's nothing compared to what's happening in here now!

However, I think you said it all in your last sentence, "it's inconsistent and yes, very unfair".

Maybe my anger took me over the boundary, but really that sentence was the point of my rant....
