I actually Googled Pan Am and watched a video about the real-life stewardesses because I didn't get it...

I doubt if I'll watch it again.

Honestly I enjoyed Pan Am. I know its nothing like the "real world" of the time. But I'm a sucker for 50s and early 60s vintage and the show just looks beautiful. Plus, unlike Charlie's Angels, I actually liked every single one of the actors by the end of the episode. Also, I kind dig the flashbacks and the weird CIA/stewardesses as spies stuff. Made if feel like a Lost soap/drama.

Huh. Soooo, I'm guessing it was the pictures that got the "How Much Does Weight Matter?" thread deleted. Because the content of the thread was actually really interesting.

I got a note from one of the mods, & she told me it was taken down for review. That's the first time that's ever happened to me. It kinda made me nervous too.....

I actuall thought 9/10 of the thread was pretty great. There were several long conversations last night that were on topic, or relating to the topic, that actually made me, ya know, think. But then a lot of pictures were posted. And this morning the thread went all kinds of weirdly off topic wonky. I wouldn't worry about it, though. Offenders would be gone already if it was a serious problem. Probably just easier to delete the whole thing than pick through it to remove the nonsense.

I thought it was my best thread until a "Party Poop" ruined it all with some questionable comments, but I'm not even going there...

I'm so tired of meeting men who seem to end up not being sincere and seem to think that I should settle for less than I deserve. Then when I stand up and tell them what I will and will not accept, then it's a problem. I refuse to give up, the man who is supposed to be my best friend is out there somewhere. But I refuse to lower my standards just to have a man in my life. If it doesn't feel right, then most likely it isn't. I figure the more I listen to my instincts, the less time I waste with people who don't deserve my kindness and attention. With that being said...

I'm excited that tomorrow is my birthday!!!!

Though "The Cosby Show" is fun to watch, I always found "A Different World" to be much more funnier.

I'm hungry but I'm not going to put any empty calories in my body and mess up my diet.
