Bad kitty in my neighborhood....

I don't know what to do. We have a cat in our neighborhood, who I've named, "Sock the Intimidator" because he's black with white socks and he is beating the crap out of every cat in the neighborhood! I had an outside cat (who I've now had to bring inside even though he loved being out) but he was getting beat up on a daily basis by this awful cat! And today I caught him beating up a pretty persian. My neighbors said he always beats up their siamese cat too! And I don't just mean beat up- I mean, the cats are missing half a tail once Socks is done with them. Should I put up posters asking whose mean ass cat is this? Or will that just piss off the owners?

That's ok- It is kind of funny- He's a badass cat for real! Whenever we see him coming, it's like, "Hide the animals, Socks the Intimidator is on the loose!"

That Socks sounds like a big, ole bully! bitchfight He probably needs to be neutered but it sounds like the owner (if he has one) either doesn't want to or can't afford it. So, there's nothing really you can do that's legal. There is no leash law for cats. They are free to roam.

Aren't Persian's expensive? I don't get why someone would let an expensive cat roam outdoors?

I am having cat problems too, but mostly it's just the howling as one cat tries to intimidate all the others. They don't seem to fight much, just howl early in the morning.

I love cats, but I want to kill this one.

Wonder if I could catch him and take him to be neutered? He'd probably scratch my eyes out if I did eek Bad bad kitty.....

Yeah, I love cats too- and all animals but I tell you, I have seriously thought of taking this one off and dropping him off in another neighborhood, the only reason I don't is because then he'll start beating up their cats!

yeah it's maddening, and probably the fault of the owner who did not get him fixed or something that makes him extra aggressive

Yeah, sock's owners probably sucks! I bet it's this dickbag lawyer that lives up the street and constantly cuts through my yard without even smiling, waving or acknowledging that I'm watering my plants or whatever, he just cuts through and steps all over my grass! He pairs with Socks pretty well- bet it's him....

Uhhh, I wouldn't advise that you spray the owner. That's assault and battery. lol

Call the Animal Control and tell them there is a stray cat that keeps coming in your yard and ask can you use one of their cat traps which is a cage with a trick door. Put a tray of cat food inside the cage and when the cat steps inside, the door closes and he's trapped in there. Once you've caught him, then call Animal Control and they will come out and get their cage and haul his ass off to the Pound.

As mean as Socks is, I'd hate to see him at the pound. sad

But if he keeps walking off with my cat's tail it may come to that......

Had the same problem with a ginger male cat. He even chased my cat in to my house, where the fight would continue and I had to intervene to protect my interior.

I found out where the cat lived and wrote a note to them, that I thought it was very inconsiderate of them not to castrate their cat and that the next time he would enter my house, I would keep him there and bring him to the asylum.

They had their cat castrated within a week.

He's still a big bully, however, nothing my cat can't handle evillol

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.
