I live right on the Jersey shore so there's alot of people come and visit. Mostly during the summer and holidays like labor day, memorial day, 4th of july.

I don't think it really happens much. Although my city did host the last Republican National Convention and that was pretty miserable.

I don't mind it, if I'm out in the centre of the city. It might bug me if they started popping up around here. lol

I like meeting backpackers in Khao San Road. Mon always sets her eyes on some ppl and gets them over to chat and drink with our group, and for some reason it often turns out to be their first night in Thailand. evillol Can be folks from all over the world, so it's usually quite interesting to chat with them and get them way more drunk than their jet-lagged asses thought they would be.
