In fairness, Scarface was a 1983 remake AND reboot itself! How many of you have seen the 1932 original?

I've seen it and also own dvd of the original, but I don't think that's the main issue here. Majority of us already know that the Brian DePalma Scarface film was in fact a remake, the issue is why would it need to be remade yet again? It's pointless.

It will fail big time because, like the Miami Vice remake/movie version, it will be, probably a bleak, downbeat 00s/shit-hop rendition with lazy acting, indifferent direction and 0 charisma...

it's silly because this 1983 movie enjoyed a second life in the early-00s with a hugely successful DVD, so it's already part of the 00s culture. A Lethal Weapon remake is also in the works...and Robocop...The Neverending Story..what's the point????

Naw....Ellen Barkin has to play Miss Millie. Have you seen the movie "Brooklyn's Finest"? Well Ms. Barkin was a hot racist cunt in that role, and she must have played it well cuz I wanted Don Cheadle to whoop her ass so bad.

But as far as Jennifer Hudson goes...well she wouldn't fit as Miss Sophia cuz she lost all that damn weight, I don't think she'd be interested in gaining weight for roles..as hard as it is to lose weight you've had on you for all your life. I know I wouldn't be. So maybe Jennifer could be...hmmm...the girl in the choir at the church when they sing "God's trying to tell you something". Her and Beyonce battling the song....lawd that would REALLY be something to see. popcorn

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
