None, really. I speak only one language but greatly enjoyed Let The Right One In and The Dragon Tattoo trilogy. I think the only remake I really enjoyed was The Magnificent Seven, which repackaged the Seven Samurai but in a completely different setting.

Let The Right One In I need to see this movie. I've been putting it off for a while.

Very good, I really enjoyed it. The young leads were fantastic.

Alien Resurrection. But just as a jet-black screen with no sound.

There are maybe movies made from books that I thought they did not do a good job of.

The Golden Compass comes to to mind. They are not going to make the other two books because that movie did not do very well, but those books were really deserving.

Movies never do books any justice.

There's this art-school film that I once saw that had much potential to it, but it was clearly a low-budget production with questionable directing, mediocre acting, and a confusing script.

But the concept was good, the score was great, and the lead actor has potential.

I would like to see this "Graffiti Bridge" thing remade with a decent budget, a real director, and a script out of the megalomaniac star's control.

I hate that they are remaking The Thing. The second remake with Kurt Russell was okay, but I am not excited about this one at all. Only thing I like is that they've added a female to the cast.

I really, really, really want to see a quality remake of the 1963 Jason & the Argonauts.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057197/

Not a cheesy one like they made for TV. Todd Armstrong and Nancy Kovack were drool

Ray Harryhausen was a genius but I would like to see what could be done with those fighting skeletons in CGI.

None. If a film is good, I want it left alone. And if it's bad...well...in that case, I don't give a rusty. shrug

Why not?

I mean, it was supposed to have been "Purple Rain II" right?

Why not get it right the second time around?

It would never happen because prince is a jackass.

If he would just give it a chance to grow it could of been a good late night B movie.

Actually, this came to mind for me, too, but I didn't say anything 'cause I thought it might be blasphemy! lol

As for The Thing, I'm pretty choked about that. Carpenter's is one of my favourite films! Even worse, I just know I'm gonna go see the damn thing... mad

I like the original Thing and Carpenter's. I bet this will be a bad one. disbelief I'll wait for someone else to see it and give me the heads up.

this is the movie that solidified my admiration for Val Kilmer. between him being a starring character in "tombstone," "the doors" and willow, it's like Val did the best character acting i'd ever seen. i mean he looks totally different in all three movies.

Madmartigan (Val Kilmer)

not sure if it'd go over as a remake, but it's fun to watch movie, if you like fantasy and magical lore.

There's a horror movie from the 70s called Race With The Devil. That movie looks old--it certainly could use an update. The ending was too depressing.

I like the premise: two couples go out on an rv holiday, only to witness a Satanic killing and a bunch of redneck Satanists go after them.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!
