Last year a new variety showed up in the stores, but the name escapes me for the moment it ranks number one in texture and taste, I wonder if it was a new hybrid of somekind.

I've never tasted the GrapeApples that they've had on display 4 to a container cause its just a little too expense for something I may end up not liking

These were good for the caramel apples I made last year. I remember I did them with macs and they came out awful.

My favorite variety is Earliblaze. Haralsons are also good. I usually buy these from local growers at farmer's markets.

My favorite supermarket apple is Pink Lady. If those aren't available, I'll do Granny Smith (always reliable).

I really detest soft, mushy, mealy, sweet apples. Red Delicious is my all-time least favorite. I think they're awful.

Pink lady is my favorite! If not available I'll go for the Braeburn.

Bananas are kinda tempting too you know but kinda too sweet once they have too many brown spots...bananas gotta be almost greenish yellow...canary yellow for me you know? oddly, i'm not a big fan of cooked apples, yet i love homemade applesauce, and some pies but only a few. i much prefer a crisp fresh apple overall
