True but the o-line moreso if Ben wants to play another 7 years. You see the unecessary

hits he take dring the course of a game because of the lines inability to block.

batman nod

Another serious blow to the Giants - Domenik Hixon is done for the year with a torn ACL.

Just in: Michael Vick has been cleared to play this Sunday's game against the New York Giants and is expected to start. What is not known is if in the event Vick is reinjured and has to leave the game, is whether Vince Young or Mike Kafka, who played Sunday night, will be the backup.

Isn't VY suffering from a hamstring injury?

VY is still nursing the hamstring and still trying to get the offense down..

Kafka would be the backup

If Vick does play, expect the Eagles to run more than usual and have pass plays that take shorter to develop

Sucks that the Patriots lost. But the Jets losing to the Raiders was a nice consolation prize.

Kenny Britt's done for the year too with a torn ACL. HUGE blow to the Titans.

Great job by the Giants, putting the smackdown on the Eagles and knocking Vick out of the game. It was the best game the Giants have played in over a year. All three phases got it done, offense, defense and special teams. Eli didn't turn the ball over, Boley was all over the field and JPP is a fucking freak. Aaron Ross redeemed himself for one week. Victor Cruz made big plays, but I'm still not sold on him yet. Giants have to avoid a letdown against the Cardinals.

Instead of whining about the refs, Vick should chew out his shitty o-line. Plus, his style of play leads to him taking more hits. He needs to get rid of the ball quicker.

My jaw is still hanging on that last catch by Calvin Johnson. Dude is a fucking freak.

I'm happy for the folks in Detroit. It's a great sports town with great fans, especially in football. Lions are finally getting it together. They're slowly putting the pieces together like Green Bay did. But they have to keep Matthew Stafford healthy - you can't afford to lose him. Jared Allen wore Backus' ass out. And Detroit plays Dallas next week. It'll be a long day for the Lions if they can't block DeMarcus Ware.

With the Lions, Tigers and Red Wings, it's going to be a sweet autumn in Motown. Now if only Joe Dumars can regain the Midas touch.....

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the Lions play on Thanksgiving.

Who didn't expect the Steelers to beat a dog like Seattle down? It's frustrating

watching the organization pass on drafting quality OT to protect their franchise qb

and relying on mediocre offensive lineman. Flozell Adams could come back right now

and be better than every one on the Steelers offensive line but Maurkice Pouncey.

One could only wonder how dangerous a passer Big Ben could be if he had time

to throw vs playing run for your life. Mendenhall would be a top 5 back easily if

he had an oline to block for him.

batman Scott couldn't block anybody during the Colts game, he was being pushed around like a rag doll.

Do all US citizens here like it? 28 responses in a week doesn't seem many to me... (and that including my interventions and the responses to it).

Sorry, I haven't been convinced by the responses to my argument. Maybe this subject should be dealt with in the prince.org site Discussion Forum.

Or maybe you could just NOT click on the thread. WTF is going on around here with these nellies constantly bitching about threads they could just AVOID??? NFL threads are VERY popular and go on for pages so you have NO argument other than the one you trynna pull out your ass.

Bears problem is they're trying to run a Mike Martz offense, but they don't have the personnel to do it. You'd think the front office would realize this and get Martz the weapons he needs.

Anybody seen Chris Johnson yet? Tell 'em the team plays on Sunday at 12pmCST and they'd like for him to show up and get some positive yards. Maybe his pockets are too damned heavy and weighing him down? shrug

The only team the Titans have to worry about in that division is Houston. And I don't think the Texans will run away with it.

I'm never worried about the division, just the playoffs. :disbeliefs: The Titans, Chargers, and Colts may as well change their names to the Bear-Skinned Rugs when the playoffs hit.

Yeah that was a hell of a game by the Giants. I have 3 Giants fans and 1 Eagles fans work with me. Smack talk was at an all time high. Vick like Ben can't get rid of the ball quicker if their

lineman are getting their asses handed to them as soon as the ball is snapped. lol

Well, my Bears finally decide to run the ball and just get by the Carolina Panthers. whew But Cam Newton sure didn't look like any rookie; he made the Bears defense look stupid for much of the game.

As for Dallas and Philly, what the hell happened? omg omfg shocked They both had huge leads going into their games late, then they each blow the game. They both did a major choke job.

Meanwhile, the Saints keep rolling, and the Texans got by the Steelers yet just as they get Arian Foster back, they lose Andre Johnson to injury.

And I'm really pissed right now because the Packers are annihilating the Broncos 49-17 as I type this. I'm sure most of the rest of the country has already gotten their game switched to something more competitive, but I live in a TV market just 10 miles from the Wisconsin border which already has way too many Packer fans, so I'm stuck watching this abomination. mad doh! fuse pissed wall boo pout

Yeah my Eagles ain't livin' up to the hype, they got alot of fixin' to do sad

We were stuck watching that Packers - Broncos game here in Philly too, even after Green Bay went up 49-17 they still kept that game on instead of switching to the more competitive Chargers - Dolphins game.
