True Blood episode 47 "Soul of Fire" *SPOILERS*

Just two more episodes to go bawl Last week we left our favorite Bon Temps residents in a ninja A-Team standoff outside the Moongoddess Emporium. Which side will come out on top? Who will survive?

As always, don't read if you don't wanna know! V"V

The following was taken from www.True-Blood.net as taken from www.HBO.com

"Soul of Fire"

As the Wiccan-vampire standoff reaches a critical juncture, Sookie summons her fairy powers to prevent marnie from bewitching Bill, Eric and Pam into a suicide march, while Jesuse casts a secret spell to un-bind Antonia and break the witch's deadly defenses. Sam settles a score with Marcus; Alcide confronts Debbie about her allegiances; Andy finds unexpected passion in the forest; Lafayette is consumed by the past.

I so love how Eric is back and in full force......YES!!!!!!

I so hated the fact that he and Bill were willing to kill themselves for that blond. rolleyes This love triangle story line is for the fucking birds. I think Pam would agree too. evillol

I so hated the fact that Eric is pissed with Pam right now. Shit, she was only trying to help. I hope he'll forgive her.

Jessica to Jason's rescue again. So can they finally get together for once????!!!

ohgoon @ Andy getting some faerie pussy. He was so damn excited, seems like its been years since he's had some pussy at all. lol

URGH, that fucking Marnie. Why is everybody fucking with Lafayette this season??? Lawd have mercy.

For all the Trubie that I am, my hubby, who loves the show, but not crazy like me, totally got the Eric/Bill suicide for Sookie scene. They were trying to get Sookie worked up enough to activate her microwave fingers, but she didn't because she's an idiot.

I read an article in "The Hollywood Reporter" where they interviewed Alexander Woo, one of the show's writers. Right now Eric is torn between Sookie and Pam. He is not romantically torn. Pam represents and is pulling him towards his pre-amnesia life. Sookie is pulling him towards how happy he was when he had amnesia and didn't have the burden of his past. If Eric and Eric & Pam were given more screen time, that would have been more clear.

For me the only things that sucked about any of the episodes are the things I've been looking past all season:

Sookie is annoying as hell.

They dicked up the Amnesia Eric/Sookie storyline by tweaking Eric's character.

And

There have been too many story lines, too many characters and too many "v-dream"/unnecessary scenes, so no one is getting enough screen time to properly develop their stories.

But for me, despite what I perceive as faults in the show, there have been times in several episodes where I've actually hollered at the tv for one reason or another (example, Mantonia hexing Pam with the decaying curse) so the season has been great fun, appointment tv for me again this season. sigh I will miss it again for the next 9 months.

Effin LaLa always has his mouth open. I hope this doesn't mean Jesus is gonna get killed off... I know that b____ is gonna try and get revenge.

Dude, Jessica is soooo damned cute this season. The way she flirts with her eyes just makes me weak. drool3

Who's the fairy?? Was she using Andy to make a half human half fairy baby? I actually like the time they're giving him this season, hes become a more well rounded character who u can actually relate to.

Now that Jess & Jason seem like they'll be a couple I can see the potential battle brewing between her and the Hotshot chick, maybe next season.

Change it one more time..

I didn't believe anything (except Sam's storyline) from the episode.

I'm getting especially getting fed up with Sookie not even exploring how to manage her powers until at some convenient moment SHAZAM!!! there it is. I didn't believe for one second that she would have joined hands with the circle, however scared either.

This past episode seriously has me leaning toward cancelling HBO and just catching the show when the dvds come out. The thill is almost-gone. sigh

I just find it hard to believe that this stuff is coming from the guy who created 6 ft under. It seem the more Ball dividates from the books the worse the show and the plots are becoming. Granted there are still some zingers in the dialogue that are fun to watch the cast deliver and a great cast, for the most part it is, but they can only do so much to prop up some very lame storylines.

Andy takes a drop of V and hes all jacked up all over the place, Jason on the other hand has basically been swimming in it this year and he's all calm, rational and normal.

Sam, Alcede and that storyline could be have been interesting but to set up the conflict in one episode and conclude it in the next diminishes the effect. Also killing Tommy was huge fail, cause suddenly you have this skinwalker, which could be a very interesting storyline and its only used a prop to set up Sams storyline which wasnt needed. I also find it even for as angry as Tommy was that he would screw around with Sams girlfriend.

Sookie ugh, I cant believe that shes is as naive and stupid as she is.

Finally the big bad, Marnie. A barely able to cast a spell wiccan, who is possessed by one of the strongest witches in TB history or so Im told goes from church mouse to pure evil with no explanation, but a few throw away lines of feeling like an outcast and being bullied. Suddenly she has the wisdom and the experience to cast a binding spell over Antonia. With as little that has been going on in the last couple episodes, with Mavis and the dead baby, and the lets go meet granddaddy and kill a snake, they could have written a back story that gave more depth to Marnie. I thought Russel was all over the place, but Marnie surpassed him. Maybe next year we can get a giant rabbit that just chews every bit of scenery in sight.

I DO like the show and find it fun to watch, but its becoming so badly helmed its now viewed with a sense of dread to see how bad and not in a camp way, its going to be.

1) Totally agree. That was annoying as hell to me. Especially how they did the Mavis storyline too. It was like, last week LaLa was possessed by Mavis then the next week the riddle was solved, she was out of LaLa's body and all was supposed to had been settled. Bullshit. Then to have Tommy die, Alcide and Marcus seem to bond as "in werewolf brotherhood" or some shit, then all of sudden Alcide is helping Sam kick Marcus' ass...then kill him. All in two weeks.

2) I don't know why, but she was more annoying this season than any of the other past seasons.

3) evillol That's some funny shit. falloff

4) Sadly, I agree with you on this too. Compared to the other seasons, to me, this season wasn't that great.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I was very WTF about that to until I watched the episode again. Sookie doesn't join the group until Mantonia says something to the effect of wanting everyone to survive. Again Sookie, idiot that AB is making her to be is think that includes the vampires. She microwaves the circle when she "hears" Jason thinking all the vampires are going to die. My take on it of course.

lazycrockett, I could not agree more, the more AB deviates from the source material, the weaker everything becomes. As it stands, with all the changes he has made, next season won't be book based at all.

I have to admit . . . Pam turning on Eric would make one hell of a story line. She's been scorned by Eric more than enough. Time for her to let him know what he'll miss.
