Have you ever noticed....? ...that if you are uptight or angry or upset about something, as soon as you start to move on from feeling that way, that your bowels move too?
Seriously... whenever I have an upsetting period, after the worst is over, I literally let go of the situation by doing more poos.

I've never given this much thought, but I'll start paying attention...hmmm...

I think that this illustrates the saying about 'Shitting yourself' when scared or in a tense situation. It's like suddenly the only thing you can think about is what's caused the stressful situation and therefore, your brain decides to forget everything else that your body's supposed to do, including controlling your bowels, and thinks only of how to react to what's suddenly happened.
Just my thoughts. | |

Just my thoughts. Hmmm, yeah, hadn't thought of the literal language terminology and I agree with you man... I just want to say that I don't inappropriatly shite myself, it is all done in a controlled way. Ie in the pan

Just my thoughts. Wouldn't it be funny if this happened in the movies too! Like in, say, Die Hard, Bruce Willis soiling himself every 5 minutes. And Daredevil would be a completely different film. Actually no, this wouldn't be funny. It'd be shit. Literally.
