I recorded it so Ima catch up tonight. I want to believe in Stacy as an actress but she makes it hard cuz she still is playing Dionne from Clueless.

They need to make Omar straight and have him and Koala together because they have more chemistry than Val and Grampa Shnucks do

And dude who plays Malcom is like a knock off Isaiah Washington

AND THEY COULDN'T GET A MORE TALENTED SINGER TO PLAY REED?! Dude had no voice or stage or camera presence

they dropped that Vincent/Omar thing faster than a record exec drops a Jermaine Jackson album

And yes, I'd still tear LisaRaye up with her "I can act because I stole the show during my 4th grade thanksgiving pagaent" ass lol

Just watched it. I DVR'd it last night...

  • I don't understand what April's purpose is. How long are they going to drag out the divorce story line? Since Reed joined another label, what's she going to do now? Just keep making trite comments about Val & Keisha's relationships? confused
  • I have a friend who loves Val. Every week, she posts stuff like "Team Val" on her FB wall. Val is annoying, IMO.
  • Keisha: lol I think that Ashlee is going to become a problem for Keisha. That should be fun. biggrin
  • "Malcolm" was Principal Wood on the last season of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He slept with Faith (Eliza Dushku).
  • I like Omar. I think he's funny and has the most personality.
  • Yeah, Reed sux. nod

My twocents wink

Okay, I finally saw the latest episode. Thoughts:

1. I am SO tired of this Jerry dude. He's stiff as shit (and not like that, either), corny, and way too old for Val. I mean, really. He talks with her like he's in a fuckin' business meeting or something. I hope this is the beginning of him being written the hell outta the show.

2. Why in the hell is the bass player hittin' on somebody behind and below him at the bar WHILE he's in the middle of a performance?! WTF.

3. Who breaks up with someone in a relationship like Val and Jerry had at a noisy club?

4. I'm so glad they're moving away from the possibility of April and Reed finding romance. His music is God awful, and he looks like shit. He performed one damn track and was like, "Thank you and good night!" Lol!

5. Why don't Omar and Wallaby girl just fuck and get it over with? Like you said, bboy, they have way more chemistry than Val and gramps ever did. For the 3-some, the dude was making the right choice! LMAO!! The other girl was definitely hotter than Wallaby!

6. I wish I had a chick like Keisha because if my ex popped up unannounced over my house two days in a row, I'mma catch her first in the eye socket. She would swear some shit's going on!!

Overall, not a bad episode. Like I said, I was glad to see Val break it off, and I wanna know the True nature of Malcolm and Ashley's relationship and if it is what he says it is. I like how one second people are buzzing about her sleeping with the "new Oprah", Queen Latifah's character, but ever since then, not one bloody word has been said about it again. rolleyes

When exactly did Lisa's booty grow like that? 10 years ago she was rail thin and didn't have all them hips! I guess at a certain age booty just kicks in with us or is it the soul food we eat or what?

I was texting with my friend the whole time, and my phone rang right after the last scene. omg

I called it tho... when Val kept going to the bottle, I texted, "Drunk Sex". lol

I wonder what's going to become of the Malcolm/Keisha thing. Wow.

doody

that's what this last episode was for me. pure stank to high heaven doody

Unrealistic, boring, and nothing remotely resembling a decent cliff hanger.

But um....Quinn is looking RIIIGGHHTTTT!!!!! Lawd he could get it!

Koala and Omar need to go. They are beginning to look like a couple of bad toofus ready to be yanked. bored2

Consider the source, but . . .

NOOOOO!! STACEY DASH GOT FIRED FROM THE SHOW SINGLE LADIES . . . FIND OUT WHY INSIDE!! (LISARAYE DID HER REAL DIRTY)

MediaTakeOut.com has some very SAD news. Actress Stacey Dash is getting FIRED from the VH1 hit show SINGLE LADIES. (Originally reported by InTouch Weekly)

Why, you ask? Well a little BIRDIE on the set tells us that LisaRaye has been working DILIGENTLY behind the scenes to turn the ENTIRE cast and crew against Stacy.

You'll recall that a few months ago MediaTakeOut.com EXCLUSIVELY told you that Stacy and LisaRaye got into a FIGHT on set - with LisaRaye HEMMING HER UP!!

Well every time Stacy would show up late to set (which was NOT often, we're told) or anytime Stacy would mess us one of her lines (also, NOT often) LisaRaye would go BEHIND stacy's back and SLAM her to the producers.

And it worked. The word came down a few weeks ago that Stacy would NOT be asked to return next season.

That's some real DIRTY ISH LisaRaye . . . besides, we LIKED Stacy on the show.

Oh my... eek

I said to my friend last night that I had the feeling that there wouldn't be a second season, so we'd never find out how those stories play out.

Either way, it's messed up:

If they try to replace Stacy Dash- ala Darrin on "Bewitched"- it'll be a disaster.

If they write her out saying she left because of Quinn and Jerry, that'll just be corny, esp. if they try to introduce a new "sidekick" at the same time. neutral

Thanks for the info...

**I found this video where LisaRaye talks about the "fight" (begins around 3:25)

What the hayull is going on? I thought Single Ladies got picked up for a second season. eek

But shit, y'all know LisaRaye aint no stranger to gettin' folk kicked off the job. Just ask Elise Neal.

LisaRaye is also friends with Stacy Littlejohn the creator of the show. Diamonds really are forever. confused

The show was already renewed for a second season, though. So, I don't know if this Stacey thing is true or not, but at least they already made a decision on what to do about season #2. But, like you said, there is NO way they can replace her. They for damn sure can't get another actress and make her Val, and her character's too integral to the show to write out. Fans wouldn't go for that corny shit.

Yeah, my radar went off a little there, too. They obviously chose him for the part for a reason! Very effeminate. But, I saw glimpses of straightness there too, so he's prolly got some pink in his "closet"! lol

falloff I was trynna figure out if he was IN character or something. lol

Maybe now that the show's been picked up and it's a hit they'll get some better writers cuz this mess was abysmal! shake

Also, why they didn't cast Lauren London as Koala's character? That woulda made a whole lot more sense than someone coming from down under to Atlanta for design school rolleyes

Both of y'all cracking me up right now!!!! hmmm He's a tad something in that interview. Not fully gay but...he comes off as if he's trying to keep people guessing. We need a blue purse emoticon for those not so clearly gay folk.

She probably didn't wanna commit to being there full-time. But they could've AT LEAST followed up on her hanging out with the girls ONCE after that one episode where she was looking for some girlfriend to chill with.

And they probably added Wallaby/Koala to help "diversify" the cast. *Kanye shrug*

Do you think it's true that they won't ask Stacey to come back for the next season? I don't see how they can even have a "next" season without her or her character, TBH.

Why they gotta diversify wit ol' platypus??? All these shows on tv with NO minorities and we gotta deal with the implausibility of an Aussie 'roo in ATLANTA??? whofarted

As far as Stacey, I don't know I could see it being true, cuz Diamond strike me as that type o' bitch that would throw salt in Stacey's game, or not true for all the reasons you mentioned above. However, looks like MTO stole that story from InTouch, not exactly the bible, but it's coming from a diff source. So I don't know. hmmm
