That could mean ANYTHING.
Actually, it could now that I think of it. 'Why would YOU, looking how you do, even bother?'
Still, I think it was definitely a case of 'you're too hot for dating sites for realz'
It's "fo realz yo". |

That's like asking a pretty single girl what the hell she is doing at a singles bar or happening party!
Most everyone who's single has been or is on a dating site. It's so mainstream that almost every single popular good looking woman I've know thats active on the social scene, but happens to be single has tried out a dating site.
I met my lady on a dating site. And both of us have no problem meeting people at bars, through friends, or parties either. Which we were also both doing. It's just another way to meet people.
You mean I missed meeting you on a dating site???? I was too late?
Damn.
I had a profile on Match without paying, because I didn't believe I had a chance on there compared to real life. Then someone messeged me and I had to pay $30 or something to join just to check the message. I remember I said in my response... "I had to pay $30 to answer, so I hope it's worth it!"
It was! I moved away with her. |

I had no idea that you have to pay on some site. That's lame.
It's awesome that you found someone special enough to move away for.
Even though I found dealing with the jerks on there annoying, I did take the time to meet just ONE guy and, to my surprise, so far it's working out.

Match.com lets you create a profile for free, and even wink...but then you have to pay in order to send or receive an e-mail.
WHEN I created my profile, I had 2 fairly hot women send me e-mails...allegedly...but I had to join in order to read or even receive the emails. After a few days I did join...and suspiciously BOTH accounts were no longer available by the time I joined. And I haven't received much feedback in the past 3 months.
My membership is due for renewal next week. I will NOT be renewing it. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! |

Well a pay site does weed out people who are just joking around or casual in a bad way. It puts a slight financial hurdle up (which makes it more populated by professional people... or simply people with a job).
The most popular sites with people I knew a few years ago were Match.com and then for the more edgy: Nerve.com
Almost every girl I knew tried Match.com, or at least had a profile up. And these were some of the coolest ladies who guys were after! They were just getting a bit more into the mentality of searching for something lasting, and wanted to try something new.
I bet if we lived in the same city/country we would have hung out!
But really it just another way, just like a party, bar, or get together, or job... it's just another way to meet people. Jerks and cool people.

Up until this last guy, I pretty much met guys through friends. A few I met while having a night out...I also have 3 brothers, so they were good for getting to see a lot of dudes. |

We all use dating websites!! Theyre called Facebook, or Myspace or Google+!!

"Social Networking" is another way of saying "yeah I'll add you, then I'll check out yr hottest friends and see what we have in common and see how close they live to me cuz I need sex".

You know what's funny about Eharmony? I tried to join them because I thought their long ass application and online interview was interesting. It seemed like they could actually match you based on some cool factors based on some details about yourself. But when I was done with the whole endless list of questions and self evaluation scales, I pressed enter... and...
it told me "sorry, but I was one of the small percentage of people that it could NOT help match up with anyone"
So I tried going through the whole process again... and it said the same thing! |

It might be because deep down Eharmony is rumored to be a pro Christian site, and if you are nuetral or non religious like me... it throws you out. Maybe someone could test it (the application is free) and say they are Muslim and see what happens. |

Okay, never mind, I believe eharmony moved away form it's Christian-centric origins. They've even gotten liberal enough to admit Wiccans are customers and have opened a gay/lesbian site. |

When I meet people online they all turn out to be seriously mentally fucked up in the head. I have good luck when I meet people in person cuz I can get a good sense of their vibe and my first impression of a person is correct a good 85% of the time, which is a lot better than dealing with peoples misrepresentations of themselves on dating sites... I think that there are many people who randomly seek attractive faces and send Friend Requests. I got one myself from someone unknown.
However, FB is best at getting people to re-connect romantically. I think that something like 60% of divorces nowadays state Facebook as a contributing factor. Old lovers, old crushes, etc.
My case is one of those.

Haha, I don't doubt it!
Still, I think that's preferable to some of these married couples I know, who have 'joint' facebook accounts that they both share and have full access to. Nauseating! I never send messages to these friends, 'cause you never know which damn one of them is reading it! PRINCE: the only man who could wear high heels and makeup and STILL steal your woman! |
