It was truly a blessed trip but I do regret not being able to do any sightseeing cuz my nights were so long. But the resort was lovely and it was nice being lazy by the pool/beach while sipping on caipirinhas.

I'll do better next year whe I return for the festival and my birthday.

My friend kept marveling at how pretty their teeth were. I told her that's how we do in the islands cuz you know they can't afford no dentists or braces. Shit I ain't never had a cavity and my mama is 71 and still got all her teeth. That's a testament to that islands to Africa connection.
