Nah...it'll cost $150 to fix...and I can buy a comparable new camera for $200.

I'm waiting though, so I can spend $400 or $500 on a really NICE camera!

This is/was my baby...

Had it for 3 years, maybe 3 1/2 before it got dropped one-too-many times and died.

I paid about $400 for it back then... + $125 for a previous repair ...and took over 7,000 pics with it during the course of its life.

Funny/interesting tidbit; at one point after one of the group competitions finsihed their dance, there was an eagle feather on the ground.

They halted the event and called an elder to assist with picking up the eagle feather, which is sacred and required a "ceremony" to gather it from the ground.

...and that, my friend, is the Navajo Taco that I've been raving about.

It's a frybread topped with chili, lettuce, tomato & sour cream.

My daughter had the frybread topped with mixed berries & powedered sugar.

I love threads like this because you get to see the orger as a person with their family and somehow feel like you know the person more. I hope you and paintedlady really do do a playdate in Boston. When I left Massachusetts I thought "why the hell did I not meet Shory and painted sooner? We could have done playdates in Boston and had a lot of fun!
