I know for me, weed was the first thing I ever tried [age 14]. Didn't get high. It wasn't until later when I finally got [contact] high from second hand weed smoke. I hated the feeling, so I never did it again.

From an alcohol standpoint, it was lite beer for me. Had two swigs of it [age 12], & it was disgusting. Years later I got drunk off of a "Hot Tottie", didn't like the feeling of being drunk, so I never drank again [don't ask why it was a "Hot Tottie" of all drinks either ]

Btw, Are you still doing it today?

When I was probably 15? I drank Mad Dog and Smirnoff. Got totally shit faced and swore I'd never drink again.. I didn't till I was 18

The only drug I've ever tried was weed and that was when I was 18. HATE it.

Its kinda sad to admit but I fucking loved and miss doing drugs. I'm smart enough now and strong enough not to indulge in anything other than weed, but between the ages of 17 and 22, I played with pretty much everything except for crystal meth and heroin. Weed was and still is a constant, I usually tripped on LSD 4 or 5 times a year (that was my favorite but I had to stop...it was becoming too much ), tried shrooms a few times but didnt like it, went thru a phase with all of my buddies where we did "Coco-Puffs"...bongloads of weed sprinkled with cocaine or crack. I was a weekend warrior with all of my drug use...held down a full-time job, had a baby and a live in girlfriend, and always kept my shit under control. Married that live in girlfriend in Feb 96 when I was 22 and still got my party on...until we went with a bunch of our high school friends to Vegas for New Year's Eve 96. I was drunk off my ass, high on weed and did a FEW lines of coke. Partied hard and had a blast. My wife was well aware of all of my drug use and never really complained. She partied with me all the time (she never did drugs but she can drink ANYONE under the table). There was just something about the way she looked at me that night that made me feel really foolish. She says she doesnt know what Im talking about, and maybe I just imagined it, but that was when I said enough is enough. Well, I'll smoke weed till the day I die , but I havent touched anything else since New Years 96.

On a side note...went to Prince's ACT I show in LA at the Universal Amphitheater in April 93 tripping on liquid acid. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hands down one of the greatest nights of my life.

i remember when i was 7 my dad gave me a sip of what ever he was drinking at the time.... he often done that, mostly it was red wine or scotch ~ and i loved it!!!!

i never tried drugs, i have no interest in doing so either

Growing up, my mother would take me over my aunts house ever Friday night because that was payday and the night that my dad would most deffinately come home shit faced and arguementative as hell. Often times ruining property and threatening to beat up his family.

So I would go over to Auntie Lucy's and hang out with cousin Donna. Cousin Donna was about 13 when I was 11. She pretty much roamed the streets after school and hung out at what was called East Park and is now called Colubus Park. She also went over to the neighbors house and they were a 20 something couple with a little baby. Or she went to her friend Mary Jo's house and hung out in the basement with a bunch of other teens. Mary Jo had 2 brothers who were like 16 and 18.

In all 3 of these places there was heavy drinking and pot smoking. Although I worried about growing up to be like my Dad, I did not want to make my cousin uncomfortable. So at age 11 I got drunk and or stoned every Friday night.

Pot, I hated it...still do. Everyone I know smokes, but it's just not for me.

I'm told b/c I was nervous + I wasn't feeling anything (probably not inhaling properly) so I tried 3 times. Next thing I know, I was hurling.

Funny but one other time more recently I took a hit and was on the way to the movies when I had to pull over and puke on the side of the road. I blame it on a post nasal drip...but...

I tasted a cigarette when I was 14 and I thought it was good enough but it didn't blew my mind at all and days later I actually thought it was a rather silly experience

then when I was 15 I started to drink beer, some whisky, tequila and shit and I thought it was disgusting, not tasty at all, and fuckin' expensive!

to this day, cigaretes still bore the hell out of me, and I only drink some beers (soft Corona), Cuban rum and white wine with the fish, and I smoke a big cubar cigar from time to time, when I want to celebrate something...when I get drunk, it's because I've drunk like 8-9 beers...but generally speaking, you can say that I don't care for alcohol...

oh and weed? I smoked some joints back when I was 16-22, but I swear I've NEVER bought the drug, hell, I don't even know where to find a dealer I swear...

Other than sipping my dad's beer, which I thought was absolutely disgusting and still do, my first alcohol was my mom's vodka, when I was 10. I drank it straight. Sometimes me and my best friend would put it in our International Coffee while we watched Facts of Life after school, celebrating the moments of our lives with Tootie.

I can't remember if I was 14 or 15 when I smoked weed for the first time. It was a joint and I didn't get high. The next time I smoked, it was in a bowl and I got fucked up. Awww, the good old days when getting high was fun.

When I was younger I had sips of beer and wine, I hated them both.

The first time I had more than a sip of alcohol, was a few months ago.. when one of my friends had a party and her parents bought about 50 330ml bottles of 3 different vodka based alcopops.

A few of my friends acted like drunk whores, it was funny.

I haven't tried drugs and probably won't experiment till uni, I don't think I'll like it though and I'll probably stay away from them anyway.

First drink was at 11...it was something orange flavored and tasted like soda. Loved it. First time I was shit faced drunk was 13...that was the same year I first had weed via 'shotgun'. Had coke the first time at 15 without my consent (my step brother laced the joint). The last first for me was x (ecstacy) about years ago. Wow this all seems bad once you type it out.

Quite a youngy at that time- first alcoholic drink: Malibu cause it was so sweet, first recreational drug: weed - I was about 11 for the drink, about 13 for the weed.

Edit for BTW: Ocassionally for the weed. No longer drink Malibu now it's either Brandy or Barcardi

I drink occasionally now when i get together with friends from high school. I like in a smal down where all there is for fun is drinking in someones garage and playing beer pong it's rather embarrassing and VERY LAME.

Weed, like I said.. No thanks. Made me eat my weight x's 3 and I felt just so weird. Not for me. But a lot of my friends mostly my guy friends are big on it.

Like so many people, I started out with the cheapest thing possible, Milwaukee's Best beer.
