Losing wieght maybe a side effect. But the cool thing is that you will save your teeth and your gut from the harmful coke. I gave up pop ten years ago (or so). I do now drink a pop maybe 5 times a year. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

good for you! soda is really bad for people

ugh...one can of coke has 143 calories. An average energy drink has 110 to 140. So you will be saving approx 1,118 calories per day! to loose a lb of body fat you have to eliminate or burn approx 3500 calories. So with the elimination of your soda and energy drinks alone you should start loosing weight pretty quickly. Add in a bit of exersize and it will be falling off. (in a good way)

Wait 23 days then let us know if you've really given it up. You must allow for relapses and its okay if you get the craving again. Its a process and takes time. I've read if you do the same thing each day for 23 days then it becomes a habit. Your brain makes the adjustment. Good luck. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Where does the term "bubbler" originate? The origin of the term is believed to date back to 1888 when Harlan Huckleby of the Kohler Company (Kohler, Wisconsin) developed the first modern drinking fountain which was trademarked as “The Bubbler." To this day, many Wisconsinites use the term “bubbler” in place of “drinking fountain."

They call it "pop" on the east coast of Canada as well.
Before I moved here, I always called it "soft drink"...no one in Canada calls it "soda" - that I've heard anyway.
