I'm a huge fan of English lit, so most of my favorite characters fall in line with that - Elizabeth Bennet, Elinor Dashwood, Anne Elliot, Jane Eyre, Mr. Rochester.

I love a lot of Dickens characters just for their names - Ebenezer Scrooge, Lady Dedlock, Dick Swiveller ( ).
