I know quite a few of you might disagree, but I haven't felt this rejuvenated in a while. Up until 2 weeks ago, I had been having steady sex with a really good FWB for quite a while [since last year actually]. I'd rarely go a day without having sex. But I would notice that when I'd go to the gym, my workouts weren't all that great [nor my energy were I work]. Every since I stopped having sex, I've physically been ripping it up at the gym, doing better at work, & getting my prestige up in "Call Of Duty: Black Ops" [I'm nearly on Prestige 11 & there's 15 levels for those who don't know]. I'm really considering continuing not having sex [or jerking it], just because of those improvements. Maybe I've been "sex-spoiled", but I think it's time to put sex on the back-burner for a while & have some fun [& stress relief] other ways.

How do you all feel about Abstinence???

My boyfriend lives at the other side of the world and I did not see him since mid-december .

Anyway IMO it is okay to not have sex every day as long as on other days you do it 4 times to make up for it.

Long distance relationship...Damn that sucks.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other. It's actually harder for me to refrain from eating white sugar and starchy foods than it is to abstain from sexual activity. I'm not the kind of girl that needs a penis stuck up the pikachu 24/7- but I'll be DAMNED if it's not hard for me to not want to eat potato chips at random! Certain times of the month I swear I'd be willing to knock an old lady own a flight of stairs for a cup of homemade hot chocolate or a bag of Ruffles- for the almightly pay-nus-----not so much !

I stopped having sex fr a short period of time when I was depressed. It didn't make me feel worse but it didn't cure me from depression either

It freed me up incredibly when I willingly practiced it.

Also, it freed me from fear and worries of catching an STD.

But, it's not for everybody. I do find it really really refreshing.

I'm quite aware how easily too little sleep, too much coffee and too much jerking off will wreck my physical health.

Having sex several times a day is pretty much the most efficient way of losing your interest in it.

Also, the thought of my career guidance counselor from my high school having sex. What a horrible woman.

Congratulations, I guess. I can't imagine giving up sex just to get some better scores on Call of Duty, but whatever.

I love abstinence...building myself up like a ticking time bomb usually

makes the person I unleash myself on later...extremely happy (to say the least).

The only time things get difficult is during that time of the month. Like a week

before it comes and the week after I am on the hunt. Its like I can

smell testosterone and it drives me fucking crazy. It effects the way I speak, the way

I move, what I eat, how I think...

Other than that, going without doesn't bother me at all.

I didn't give up sex to get better scores in "COD", it just happened. I feel that I was becoming desensitized to sex being that I was able to have it whenever I wanted [even when I wasn't horny]. Things have to change sometimes....

Going on 6 months now (I think...it's been awhile) since the last time I did it with the ex.

I'm thinking of trying meditation and restorative yoga...to cleanse the mind...to purify the spirit...to release the stress without the palm of my hand...

I'd rather not have sex at all than have uninspired sex. So if there's no one I'm really super interested in sleeping with in the equasion, I go without.

Non-volutary abstinence sucks. Especially when you are in a regular (not long distance) relationship.
