I'm about to have eggs, bacon and sausages with toast for breakfast. woot!

My wife said she'd make me a slap-up fatty breakfast because from tomorrow and for a while every day I'm going to eat porridge oats with wheatgerm, mung beans, black sesame seeds, barley, whey protein powder and honey. It tastes alright but does get a bit boring after a while lol but I want to stick at it (not least because I've kilos and kilos of oats!).

MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

Had a Chorizo & melted mozzarella sandwich at lunch.

I'm not going to say that it goes well with Coors Light on tap because drinking at lunchtime is strictly frowned upon here at work, so I wouldn't do that sort of thing.

Yesterday went shopping with a friend and we had watermelon blow pop martini's for lunch biggrin

Oh yeah, we did eat some fish too! A salmon wrap with salmon, bacon, avacado, and rice rolled in some kind of flavored tortilla

A blackened fish sand on a heavenly bun and clam chowder that was to DIE for!

We shared everything EXCEPT the martini's! lol

nod After sticking the herbs under the skin, I season the chicken liberally with salt, pepper,& paprika (maybe with a little bit of garlic powder too). Then I massage a little margarine all over it so that all the spices become a little paste-like on the skin. This little mixture will help give the chicken that nice golden look. I bet that lemon thyme would be the bomb for this nod

I am in love with lemon thyme! Gotta grow more of that stuff next year. My oregano didn't do too well this year. I will replant more and just collect it as needed.

That sounds like good chicken. I have a bird ready for prep right now. biggrin Imma sear some asparagus tips and have jasmine rice and Rican styled beans to go with it.

I grew 3 Lime thyme plants this season ... they are YUMZ and go well with the lemon thyme too !

...uhm...I'm sorry but what exactly is "grass jelly"?

I googled it for ya! biggrin

Grass jelly is made by boiling the aged and slightly oxidized stalks and leaves of Mesona chinensis[1][2] (member of the mint family) with potassium carbonate for several hours with a little starch and then cooling the liquid to a jelly-like consistency.[1][3] This jelly can be cut into cubes or other forms, and then mixed with syrup to produce a drink or dessert thought to have cooling (yin) properties, which makes it typically consumed during hot weather. The jelly itself has a slight bitter taste, a light iodine lavender flavor, and is a translucent black. It can also be mixed with soy milk to produce a milky white liquid with black strands in it.
