I have made it using just plain canned pumpkin... Not the pie filling, but the plain one with no spices... It probably isnt as good as actually cooking the pumpkin, but it was pretty yummy!

There is no canned pumpkin here in Holland. We do have it frozen in cubicles. It's great to have it around in the freezer.

Also, I like to cut pumpkin in tiny pieces, with the crust left on it, only getting the seeds out. When I stir fry it with feta and/or other ingredients, the crust goes soft and is eatable. So, not losign any vitamins, because the vitamins are just under the crust.

I just love pumpkin. So easy and applicable for every sort of dish.

I had banana bread french toast and sausages with coffee. I dusted them with powdered sugar.

The second day in a row I ate breakfast as my lunch. I am just not hungry in the mornings.

Gotta switch that.

I made chicken and dumplings, made the dumplings with the canned biscuits, would have never crossed my mind til my aunt told me, ha, they came out pretty good all light and fluffy.

I tried to like Shiraz... but its like sucking on one of those wooden tongue depressors/popsicle sticks.

I am drinking my evening cup of joe.... with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Wow. Shiraz is my favourite red.
