Through friends. Both of my parents were recovering from divorces from their first marriages. Then they met, dated a few years and got married. I came along a few years after. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

My mum worked with an interior designer and my dad wanted his office to be decorated. He was 38, she was 18. (Or so that's the story I got told) Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity

My parents met at a restaurant where they were both working. They were 14 & 16. They were married 2 years later at 16 & 18 and were married for 60 years before my mom passed away.

They met at a party that my mother's cousin was having. Her cousin was dating my father's brother at that time so they met through them. My father was kinda drunk that night and trying to dance with my mother and he made the prediction that he would marry her. My mom gave him the side eye They will be married for 32 years in December.

My mom brought her friend to the trainstation after they had been going out to the disco. On her way she met my dad, for him it was his first night out to a disco. They went to the disco together and fell in love.
Got married, had two kids and divorced.

My dad was in this country for at least four years (don't know exactly how long), and my mom was here for I think a few or a couple of months. She met this polish girl who invited her to a party at her house. Her friend arranged that my dad picked up my mom, and the rest is history .
Apparently, my mom didn't like my dad at first. He wanted her number but her friend had to convince her to give it to him.

I've never heard the detailed story, but apparently my father was "good friends with" ( which probably means actually dating, knowing him) my mother's sister in Cleveland. When my mom came up to visit from central Ohio, her sister made the mistake of introducing her to my dad, and his attentions turned. [Edited 8/26/11 19:48pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
