Are you serious? If yes, this is very interesting.

If I may ask, how much do you earn with that? Regularly? What kind of people are your customers? What kind of things do you sell on? Does it really pay off in the end (given the amount of time you spend on it etc.). If this is too private for the forum, I would settle for an orgnote too, of course. If it's too private for an orgnote, then fuck off.

wink

I sell anything from cd's to ceramics, I buy things from shops and ebay, then sell them on.

I buy cd's for £3-5 new and sell them for up to £10 depending on the cd.

I sell to people all over the world, and yes it does pay off. I enjoy the hunt for things and the process of selling. Once you are used to it, listing things on ebay takes no time at all. Of course, I need to buy packaging and pay ebay fees, but all that is covered in what I make as an end result.

I recently paid for a week long trip to London, nice hotel in a central location for 6 days, return train travel, nice meals out and a healthy spending budget all from under 6 months of ebay selling, and that's profit, as I set aside a monthly budget to buy things to sell.

Of course, there are times when I sell nothing, it's not all roses and caviar...hehe.

I would love to spend more time buying and selling, and hope to do just that one day.

I am in the process of trying to figure out what the hell I want to do for a living. I really envy those that grew up knowing what they wanted to do as a career,I honestly never thought about it.

So...

What do you do for a living?

Did you always know this was the job for you?

Do you enjoy it?

How did you get into your profession?

If you had to choose something else to do,what would it be?

I recently moved to London so I'm unemployed. Ideally I'd like to work in museums. But I'm desperate for some cash now so I'll do anything.

I have a degree in Palaeoanthropology which was quite fun but it's almost useless. But I wouldnt change a thing because esentially this is what I wanna do.

If I had to choose somethingelse I'd wanna be a famous author, or a popstar or just come from a super rich family razz

I have been doing this for sometime now. Not really as a way of living, but I am quite surprised sometimes what I can get for free, and how much people will pay for things. What kinds of things do you sell?

I'm a copywriter for a large clothing company.

I started working here as a writer 14 years ago...after working 5 years part-time for the company in another capacity. (That was my foot in the door.)

Before that, I did television weather (for five years), was a radio journalist (for another three years), a communications director and advisor for a political party (couple more years at that), and a press secretary for a state senator (six years).

The only one of those jobs that was planned was the TV weather gig (my first career). I fell backassward into everything else.

My work life hasn't been dull, that's for sure! lol

Wow! lol

I somehow found myself serving expensive drinks to Mo's who, no matter what the economy, have enough disposable to keep me in furs and jewels.

I can't complain.

Graphic Artist(creating graphic prints for men's & boy's sleepwear, currently unemployed)

No. I never expected to wind up designing apparel. I just fell into it by accident.

Yes.

You mean when did I decide to pursue a career in art? Ever since I was a kid, I was always drawing stuff. I was good at it, I enjoyed it, and I could do it alone without any annoying people around. Once I found out I could make money doing it, I was like, 'yes'!

There is nothing else. I was going to hava a career in art by any means necessary. Failure was not an option.

Currently I'm not working (at least not for money) because I'm in school full time.

But in the eyes of the school, I'm a student pharmacist...and next summer is when I'll start getting my work experience in this field. biggrin
