Chicken soup is delicious. nod

Oh, and falloff

I was thrilled when, at the farmer's market a few weeks ago, I found a farmer who sold feet from pastured chickens. I've been looking for them for the longest - want to add them to my stock to up the collagen content. nod

How old are you?

you didn't need to explain that to me. I understand what an inheritance is.

plenty of people get inheritances. my point is you don't have to live there in order to get it. they will still leave it to you even if you move out and rent or even buy your own place.

I take it back....I hope they live to 150!

-I'm 105 years old, Shorty. mad

-No one has to fucking do shit really, if you get an INHERITANCE and they want you,

-to STILL LIVE THERE, then why the fuck not?

biggrin

I love how kids get mad when you ask how old they are. lol

maybe you accidentally added the 0 in there...cause 15 sounds about right.

why the fuck not? oh I don't know here's just a few reasons

  • because you want your own life
  • because you don't want to live by their rules anymore
  • because you want to be able to bring your boyfriend home and fuck him with out being like "we can go to my room, shhh"
  • because you want to feel a sense of accomplishment
  • because you want to get married and have children someday (maybe not..such a good idea)
  • because you have self worth
  • because saying you live with your parents is getting old.
  • because you have a hard work ethic
  • because you MIGHT want to make your parents proud of you.

I could go on and on.

-why do you use a hyphen

-when it's unnecissary?

you talk alot about not knowing someone's situation...but yet you pretend to know my situation.

you might want to take your own advice from time to time.

My dad used to say the same thing to me, that I would get the 250,000 dollar house (which is NOT alot btw) and I used to think wow..cool. But as I got older and he would continue to say that I started to realize it was HIS hard work that built and maitained that house. I began to tell him not to worry about it, that if he wanted to sell it and relax he could. Even though I grew up there and had a ton of sentamental feelings attatched to it I didn't want him to think he had to give it to me. In the end, when he died I still got an inheritance. But I'd give it all back to have him back.

You have A TON of growing up to do, but that's ok enjoy it while it lasts.

Enjoy your parents while they are still here too.

My parents never had any intention of passing the house we grew up in to their children.

In fact, when they sold it (right after my youngest sister graduated from high school), my mom called each of us and said, "Come and get your shit out of my house before the end of next week. If it's still here after that, I'm throwing it out." lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
