True Blood episode 46 "Burning Down the House" *SPOILERS*

Only three more episodes to go this season. bawl What's in store for us this week?

When we left True Blood, Eric and the rest of King Bill's sheriffs were under Antonia's control and bodies were flying at the Festival of Tolerance. Tara and the other Wiccans were being held prisoner by Antonia at the Moongoddess Emporium. Debbie teams up with Sookie, but was she really trying to help? Alcide had carried Tommy away after Tommy, shifted as Sam, received a world class beat down from Marcus and some of the pack. Sam and Luna finally rock the tent while out camping. Lafayette and Jesus helped Mavis resolve her Earthly business and Mikey was safely returned to Terry & Arlene. After helping Hoyt, Jason takes the "Monster Box" to Jessica and they end up fucking in the bed of Jason's truck.

As always...Don't read if you don't wanna know!

Taken from www.True-Blood.net as taken from www.HBO.com

"Burning Down the House"

As all hell breaks loose in Shreveport,Sookie summons her most potent powers yet to save Bill, breaking a spell and leaving Marnie to re-evaluate her mission. Jason urges Jessica to glamour him for Hoyt's sake; Terry drags Andy to "Fort Bellefleur" for an intervention; Alcide reconsiders his allegaces after Marcus' fight with Tommy; Jesus, accompanied by Sookie, Lafayette and Jason, tries to breach the Moongoddess Emporium's defenses to liberate Tara and Holly while Bill leads a brigade of vampires committed to blowing the place to kingdom come.

Okay, Tommy dying broke my damn heart even though I was betting on it happening. He died an awful, gruesome, painful death. It was really well done. R.I.P. Tommy Mickens.

I'm kinda pissed w/ the Eric/Sookie/Bill story. Sookie was sounding awfully Twilight-y with that "couldn't live in the world without Bill in it" shit. Don't get me wrong. I'm by no means anti-Twilight, but it has no place in my True Blood. This ain't peanut butter & chocolate here!

I'm sooooo pissed that Eric remembers! It was so perfect watching him struggle with remembering every minute of the last thousand years except the time he spent at Sookie's.

Fort Bellefleur was adorable. Yeah, I wanted more Eric and vampire/witch war time, but I loved Terry & Andy.

I thought I would die laughing at Jason, "He drank 11 of my beers, fell asleep and started farting, continuously."

I think we're going to be seeing a decidedly more vampiric and bad ass Jessica. I don't care what happens as long as I get to kill shit!"

How about Marnie! Psycho bitch!!! Sookie, Jason, LaLa & Jesus out front with the bad juju repelling spell was very book like!

K...won't do the entire show! There was so much & it was so fucking good!

During the Bill/Eric fight...Sookie helping...why this bitch wait till the very last minute every damn time to do something with her powers? I understood when she didnt' know she had any, but now at this point, whenever something I didn't like was goin on I'd be holding out my hands and trynna make some shit happen. Come on, practice at home or something. neutral

That said, when she told Bill she wanted to help and he said "the last time you helped you ended up getting shot and almost dying" I would've corrected his ass and told him that UMMMM nah, the LAST time I tried to help I shot lightning out my hands and broke the spell on Eric and saved your damn ass. biggrin

Ball either needs to stream line the episodes and make 2 less, or give us secondary plots that are interesting and audience invested in. Never cared for the demon baby thing and Andy on V was basically just filler through out the season. This seems to be a running theme. The Mary Ann season would have bee great if the audience hadn't been treated to a whole lotta townies getting high and having orgies.

Marnie switching would have been more convincing if somewhere down the line we saw that Marnie had be mistreated for her wiccan abilities, her now being the big bad seemed just left field. she can chew the scenery though.

Jessica had the best line and Im finally starting to like her character. Must be nice to be able to drink constantly, eat huge amounts of fried bacon, eggs and jam and still have such a tight little core.

short list:

Debbie

Jesus

The merlotts witch

and please god Tara. Speaking of they really dropped that lesbian storyline. Which reminds me I heard last year that the football player on V was going to be in this season, right??

Short list
Tommy- R.I.P.
Holly- Merlot witch
Debbie
Antonia/Marnie
Nan

2 FEWER episodes? You trying to kill me?

The V drinking HS football player has been MIA this season. I haven't heard any rumblings about him or that storyline for this season or next so far.

The Mickens are totally gone now, but I see the affects of Tommy's death guiding Sam's storyline for awhile.

I think if(when...my hunch) Holly dies along w/ Marnie/Antonia that storyline will go, but it will have its affects on Tara, Lafayette & Jesus.

I'm not 100% sure the possessed baby story is dead...can't tell is Drew/Rene's spirit is out of the picture.

I think we'll hear from Hotshot again...which I could do without...maybe not this season though.

*SPOILERS FOR SEASON 5*

What I have heard about Season 5 is that a character fans love and a character fans hate will be back. Also, Terry will get a visit from an old military buddy that saved his life (and is foine).

This episode only confirms Sookie is a manipulative disruption, which makes the show interesting, but is terribly aggravating.

That scene where she explained to Eric, who was fully self-aware, that she still loves Bill, never promised herself to Eric, and reminded Eric that HE pledged himself fully to HER, was infuriating.

Others have reminded me that somewhere in the books Eric betrays Sookie down the line; however, based on what I've seen, she's playing with the boy's emotions so I wouldn't be surprised if he turned on her.

Oh, and by confronting Antonia she's going to make matters worse.

Seriously, I wish the creators could devise a TRUE RIVAL to this woman, if only to show her true colors.

At least Bill is slowly maturing and getting beyond his Sookie infatuation, making him a much better character.

I've been discussing this type of thing on a TB website. AB has subtly changed the characters so they are not a good reflection of the books now.

I know that TB is "based on characters" from the book series, but he has really gone rather douch-y with a lot of the changes, Sookie being one of them.

There's the argument that the books are all from Sookie's POV so the changes needed to be made to expand the show. There's more to it than that. At least in the books you liked Sookie, and my loathing of Anna Paquin aside, the show's Sookie is manipulative, hypocritical and more and more unlikeable.

Okay had to go to my mother's house to watch True Blood finally....

THANK YOU JESUS AND ALL THE HEAVENS...ERIC IS BACK!!!!! party

I loved how Pam ran to Eric once she knew he was back finally, but I was turned off when Eric seemed distracted from his reunion with Pam by Sookie. sigh Why is it that, that blond haired broad is always having some vamp at her toes in their emotions over her ass? I feel like she playing with both Eric and Bill's emotions. They should both dump her ass for good.

But damn Tommy died. sad

It's going to be an adventure watching Sam get back at Marcus with Alcide's help popcorn

Hoyt is really, really, really irritating. That's all I'm going to say about him.

And WHOA...did Debbie and Marcus screw?

The whole Andy/Terry scenes, sorry but they seemed like filler scenes to me. I could've done without. shrug Bored me to pieces.

That last scene was priceless with the music....
