Uh! I have had so many random people try to start a conversation with

me from their stall.

"Aren't you even curious? Don't you want to see the dragon behind the door?"

Public bathrooms can definitely be nasty. Sometimes people don't even bother flushing the toilet when they're done using it. disbelief I'm a female, so I always put strips of toilet paper on the seat, or use one of those paper seat covers, if they're available. I wash my hands, then use my elbow to crank out a paper towel or to turn on the hand dryer, if there is one. I then use a paper towel to turn the water off and open the bathroom door. I'm not a germaphobe, but these methods work for me. smile

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I stopped at this bathroom rigiht off the freeway...emergency type situation. Interstate 10 and Vincent ave in West Covina Ca. My grand and uncle lived there.(not att he bathromm(knuckleheads!). Well anyways, it was a chevron or mobile...not sur which onr, the red and blue of both confuse me. But I got tot he bathroom of this somewhat shady looking gas station ad u'll NEVER guess.

It was one of the most GLORIOUS public restorrms EVER seen by me. Now I ain't been to the Ritz or nuthin high cleass...but this wouldn't have been out of place. A week or mothn later I saw A NEWS STORY about it in the paper/local news!...it was really amazing.

to prove I', not making it up!

The Bottom Line

Exerpt from an article that originally appeared in the March 16, 2005 edition
of the LA Times written by Bob Pool, Times Staff Writer

Lavish Gas Station Restroom

WEST COVINA, Calif. — A good toilette is good for the bottom line according to Paul Moghadan. A chandelier, faux travertine walls, silver columns and a marble counter adorn the bathroom at his Chevron gas station in West Covina, some 20 miles east of Los Angeles.

The walls are decorated in rich earth tones and blue stone tiles, giving the 10-foot-wide room a slight Tuscan ambiance — or maybe a touch of Vegas. "I wanted to give the restroom the greatest look I could. I wanted to show how much I respect my customers," said Moghadan, 55, of San Dimas. "I started with Chevron in 1966, and they trained us back then that the No. 1 priority was the station bathroom. They stressed we should keep it clean and papered up."

In the last dozen years, Moghadan said he has an average of 20 compliments a day about the bathroom. "I have customers from Palm Springs and Las Vegas who make a point of stopping here," he said. "Some even bring in relatives to show them the bathroom." He said the glitz has kept profits up and vandalism down. The mirror, for example, has only been replaced twice.

the whole thing was bizzare and completely unexpected. The harshest germaphobe woulda been COMPLETEY A-O-K in there.

I used to live in WesCo and then my gramma moved into our old house when I moved to ancho Cucamonga and 2 of my uncles lived in WesCo as well...one on b arbara ave, off of Vincent ave and the other off os Stuart, about 6 blocks from my grammas house.

/\ That's fucking WEIRD AS HELL because the same EXACT thing happened to me, except in BC, Canada. We were driving in the middle of nowhere along the freeway and we saw this random ass store and there was a public toilet there.... and I walked right in and it was like something from a palace!!! Looked just like that one in your picture.

And then, my bandmate saw it on the news a few days later as well!!!!!
