Really Bad Quirks

I have a gang of quirks I like, some I fucking hate.

1. I always carry a Nail File in my pocket, and pull it out at the worst moments.

2. I always run a mile, and when I'm finish, I'll come home and eat a load of junk food.

3. I'll always grow my hair out, and then I'll get inspired by some random person to cut it.

4. I say "fucking Jesus" way too much. I try to stop. It's my meaning of "jesus fucking christ".

5. Me and my girlfriend made Friday night our "cuddling night", but 10 minutes into it I fall asleep.

I know you guys have some bad quirks.

Are you sure you know what the definition of "bad habits" is?

Doesn't it have something to do with addiction?

Oh ok. I always thought bad habits were things you couldn't stop doing. So what is a good name for this thread?

One of mine is correcting people when they spell "whoa" wrong. And I'm not actually kidding. lol "Woah" is not a word. "Whoa", on the other hand, is.

Also, if there was a "you" sound in coupon it would be spelled quepon.

Sorry...

I'll leave now. lol

I don't even understand the question. shrug

Coupon is pronounced coopon. It always has been. Anybody who pronounces it quepon is wrong. Name me one other word with an ou in the middle of it that has a que "you" sound to it. Hint, there aren't any. lol I try to deal with it as best I can, but it actually makes me wince and jump a little on the inside whenever somebody says quepon. lol

"Forte" is one of those words that people usually like to correct the pronunciation on, so I thought I'd throw it in. The correct pronunciation is "fort," not "for-tay." But I'm not going to pronounce it "fort," because I don't want to.

I think I say both "koo-pon" and "cue-pon" without really thinking about it.

Well shoot, I learned something new today. I honesty had no clue about fortay vs fort. But uhh, yeah, I don't think I could start saying fort. Like...

"Yeah, baseball is not exactly my fort."

"Your what?"

"My fort."

".... you have a fort?"

lol Not gonna work.

Also, you have a gift with the dictionary phonetics. What with the koo and cue and all that. Strangely, I have a vague memory of complimenting you on this sometime in the past, too. lol

I'm scared of ketchup, hate when people say "swag" rolleyes, I'm slightly OCD where I have to do/repeat things for a certain amount of times or I think something bad will happen, I hate short pants that show your ankles, I like to sleep without pillows,

..that's all I can think of at the moment.

If I feel like I haven't exercised properly, I'll go on the treadmill again for about 10-20 minutes, depending on how much effort I put in the first time round.

When I talk to my friends online I tend to type like a 9 year old who's just discovered 'text talk', started off as a joke but it became a habit.

I always have to have my nails painted.

Occasionally I randomly become obsessed with some singer/bad and they will be the only artist I listen to for whatever amount of time. It's happened with Lady Gaga, Little Richard, Kanye, The Rolling Stones, Marvin Gaye, Beyonce, Muse, Janet Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas (90s + early 2000s) and especially Prince.

I never wear mascara without eyeliner. Never.

edit: just realised the title of this thread is 'Really Bad Quirks'

None of the ones I mentioned are bad but they're annoying razz
